Summary: Our stay at the Six Bells was perfect. We only booked for one night as we had a gig at Wasing, but had a fantastic stay. Staff and rooms were all lovely, wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Summary: TV didn't work, shower trickled, walls very thin and could hear the neighbours. No food on a Tuesday. Breakfast was a manky apple, yoghurt and a breakfast bar.

Summary: The location is beautiful in the Berkshire countryside. There is off road parking and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was quite adequate for our needs, clean and tidy, with a fan for the very hot weather - quite welcome! A good selection of drinks available. We didn't eat there, so cannot comment. A nice, quiet, short and inexpensive stay and have no hesitation in recommending the Six Bells.

Summary: The room was a good size and comfortable. We are there in the evening. Food was cooked well. We enquired what time breakfast was and where we ate. We were told between 9-11am downstairs in bar restaurant. We went downstairs at 9-15 am only to find the place deserted!! Absolutely no one to be found. Apparently our breakfast was a bunch of bananas, some apples, cereal bar and a pot if granola in a small fridge left on the landing. No milk!! On Expedia it stated breakfast was included with photos of a cooked full English on the information. We have never experienced anything like this before. If I had read that this is what to expect we would never had booked it. On the security aspect of it I find it incredible that the whole pub was left unattended. If we hadn’t been such honest people we could have taken anything from the bar. I would not recommend staying at the six bells.

Summary: Had the opportunity to go back to to my favourite stay in the reading area for a night, and as always it didn’t disappoint. A friendly welcome, comfy room, amazing pizza out in the garden. Can’t wait for my next stay

Summary: The owner and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We were only there for 2 nights to attend a wedding in the locality, but we really enjoyed our stay there. Good food and beer were served.
