Positive: The location is beautiful, surreal and unexpectedly exceeded my expectations, the hiking trails weren't overly difficult and the views were magical, the property is nice and has such an open feel about it. Former reviews made it seem like there was no sink/kitchen but it comes with a kitchen sink, the cottage is tidy and has a cosy feel to it. Various wildlife, roaming chickens and cows nearby, true nature and farm feel.
Negative: There was no signal other than one spot a little away from the property, its not a deal breaker but made it difficult while trying to ensure contact to the outside world, the cottage is close to the homestead but that's fine as you'll mostly have the trails to your self and everyone respects each others privacy.
Summary: Beautiful, lovely and tranquil forest views.

Positive: I loved the location and the fire place. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed.
Negative: Unfortunately we didn’t get to go near the cows and did not see the waterfall. Mobile reception is sparse. It would be great to have an instruction booklet on how to use the stovetop and fireplace.
Summary: Fabulous, tranquil and a great break from “technology”! Very grounding!

Positive: The home itself was so lovely, warm and homely! Vita, one of the hosts, had made the stay as simple as possible, setting up the fireplace and everything else we needed within the home! I wish we had more time here since there's lots to explore around the property! A breath of fresh air from the city, absolutely loved this place! Would be more than happy to make the trip to stay again!
Summary: With Incredibly kind hosts, The Source was an amazing and would definitely stay again!

Positive: A lovely cottage in Otways, a beautiful rainforest. It was easy to do self check-in and the cottage was well equipped and was super cosy with a firewood heater. It was very clean and had a nice view. It had quiet surroundings, and you hear nothing except for nature. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to do the trails nearby, otherwise we would definitely have visited. The strength of the shower is very good btw, and they had quite a few brochures for attractions nearby which was very useful.
Negative: The cottage didn't have wifi, which didn't bother us, but good to know. Other than that we were sorry to leave our dirty dishes, because it felt strange to wash them in the bathroom sink as there is no kitchen. All in all just minor points.
