Positive: The Stables are a cosy two-bedroomed and well equipped cottage with a lean-to conservatory giving access to an enclosed garden. Excellent location close to the Solway Firth and its lovely beaches, ideal for long walks along the England Coast Path.
Negative: A bit more attention to final cleaning to remove dead insects from window ledges and the floor in the conservatory. There were sweet wrappers underneath the bed. The conseravory door into the garden is warped and therefore difficult to close and lock.

Positive: Home from home cosy feel Could take both the dogs Everyone we saw was so friendly I loved sitting in the conservatory listening to the parrots next door and watching the wildlife including a peacock , bunnies enjoying the garden Beds were so comfy I loved the recline chair Location was fantastic with beach across road Plenty of parking
Negative: Coming home ! Oh and the 9am checkout my only fault if I have to pick one … other places are normally 10am - 12

Positive: Our stay at James' place couldn’t have been better. It’s a comfortable, clean, spacious, and warm house with a winter garden overlooking farmlands filled with birds, cows, sheep, and various rescue animals. If you fancy a beach walk, you only need to cross the road for a stunning experience with mesmerising views of Scotland across the sea. It’s also an ideal base for exploring North Cumbria, Hadrian’s Wall, and the beauty of the Lake District. Or, you can simply relax, interact with the animals, buy fresh farm produce, and visit historic coastal towns in Northern Cumbria. Overall, it was exactly what we were looking for, and after a week’s holiday at the stables, we’re fully recharged.

Positive: Very comfortable with lots of different places to sit and relax both inside and out. We were near to so many interesting places, Cocker mouth, mountains, forest, long beaches, and beautiful lanes. We loved Wordsworth's house.
Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like. A few more items to help cook would be handy but not necessary as we managed with what the kitchen had.
