Positive: We booked for 1 week which is not usual for this place. If I had to rate this place based on my first day, I would have given them a 1 star. We were welcomed withโ€check-in is a 2pmโ€. No hello, no smile, no โ€œyou want to put down your luggageโ€. We showed up 1pm, not expecting to check-in, just to get some food from their high rates restaurant.There was big surprise when they realised we were there 1 week, strange. We got a room, in front of the only music speaker. They played only ONE SONG for 6 HOURS - honestly, this felt like torture. It was Songkran so we didnโ€™t say anything at first. But after 6hrs we asked to lower the volume, and they did immediately and kept the same song next day, at a very lower level. There was only 1 song in the restaurant as well (different song), not much effort. The room was clean , new and comfortable. Big tv, big bed, fridge, wifi was fast and stable. Aside for the first encounter, the staff was lovely. The food in the restaurant is great. The pool is nice.
Negative: I am confused with this place. Itโ€™s comfy and nice but some choice are very questionable and lack service, which is not normal for Thailand (and the price target!). You can order food from your room conveniently with QR code. But they wonโ€™t pick up your dirty dishes!! You have to bring them down or they stay on your porch all night. They have a pool with black tile, black painted METAL furniture, rusty and broken, making it difficult to fully enjoy the pool. There is also no place to put your stuff or sit if you donโ€™t have a room next to the pool. No shade and the black tile got so hot it nearly impossible to enjoy yourself. The drying rack they gave us was very rusted. For the price, not worth it. Maybe 1 or 2 nights. Breakfast was decent and big, but same all week.
Summary: Not worth the price.

Positive: Decent rooms and facilities, good restaurant. Only disappointment was I requested an early check-in when I booked and was told it would be possible subject to availability (fair enough) but when I arrived I was told very abruptly I would have to pay more if I wanted to check in early. When I mentioned my request I was told it wasnโ€™t available (even though there were obviously many rooms available).

Positive: Nice new modern stylish hotel. Clean... But little out of town. You will need to flag down local "multi seat motorbike" for a 20 Bart ride into town ๐Ÿ˜‰

Positive: For the reasonable price, it was functional. Food was fine for breakfast. Pool was a real bonus.
Negative: No bedside lamps in the room so had to use phone to find my way back to bed safely.

Positive: Above average Thai breakfast. No cookies or cake. And have to guess the soup. Lol.
Negative: Some staff polite and ok, and some lethargic, some bins in the reception area/ public toilets ignored for a couple of days. There is an infestion of SOI DOGS, 16 counted ! 1500 metres walk to 7/11 if you need a snack, none available at this place.
Summary: If you have a car, stay here. There are no local options
