Summary: Overall, very nice staff and service. The room itself was just okay. We were there during the heatwave and without air conditioning the indoor temp was brutal. The staff offered fans but the windows didn’t open all the way and there was very little fresh air coming in. Honestly, it was miserable. Not the hotel’s fault of course. They had great staff, excellent location, and good food, but I would recommend getting a different hotel during any kind of heat wave.

Summary: Excellent central pub accommodation right next to Stroud train station. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated with a great bathroom and excellent shower. Breakfast was outstanding and the bar downstairs had a lovely atmosphere and really good menu.

Summary: lovely clean hotel staff very professional and friendly room very clean one suggestion to make the stay more enjoyable would be to install secondary glazing to drown out the unavoidable noise from the pub next door which goes on until 1 am the only reason why not 5 stars

Summary: Friendly bar staff and check in but they didn't provide the extra pillows we requested. There can also be some noise from music events, surrounding properties and the (very) nearby station. Try not to get room 12 - the worst view we've ever suffered!

Summary: Really lovely hotel in the heart of Stroud. Staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a deluxe room which was spacious and very clean. Food was delicious and there was a great choice at breakfast.
