Positive: The Sun Inn is in a Good location in the lakes, being between Windermere and Ambleside. There’s a lovely path from the road above the pub which takes you up to Orrest head or Windermere town. The room was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed.
Negative: The windows didn’t stay open so I had to wedge it with my shoes - it was hot in the night and we needed air. They were also not doing breakfasts when we stayed there.
Summary: Nice reasonably priced place in a good location

Positive: Julie and all the staff were lovely, very friendly, helpful and happy to help....we all felt very welcome. Great onsite pub and food was amazing, approx 20mins walk from Windermere centre which was a straight forward walk. 3 mins taxi from Low Wood Spa, which we were there for and how we found the Sun Inn, we would all 100% recommend. Rooms were spacious, clean, and the biggest and most comfortable bed I've had when I've been away.
Negative: Nothing not to like that we came across, even their car park was free which we've been away before and had to pay extra for parking, so added bonus! We didn't like the weather as alot of rain but that isn't the Sun Inn fault and they made our stay!
Summary: Stay at the Sun Inn, fab staff, amazing cost and pub and absolutely unbelievable food available....

Positive: Couldn't fault location,only stayed 1 night very dog friendly, excellent room very comfy bed. Staff worked hard and very friendly,food was very good, would stay here again ,only fault no breakfast Sunday morning. so had to go elsewhere.
Negative: Nothing really,only no breakfast so had to go to another place.
