Positive: The breakfast, although continental, was plentiful and well ptesented. The staff were attentive and most helpful.
Negative: Could do with a night light in the room.

Positive: The room itself was beautiful, spotless and clean. Location on the estuary was perfect.
Negative: Pre booked a room with seaview and what we got was a wall in front of us with a slight side angle of the estuary. Advertised as breakfast included and it’s a continental, which on first day was adequate but second day, they had hardly any choice and yet we were down just after opening. Female assistant said she had been away day before and was moaning that other staff hadn’t replenished the shelves. Personally I didn’t want to hear this.
Summary: Could have been so so much better. Just a shame we didn’t get what we paid for.

Positive: Breakfast was included in the price and was as expected for Continental, you could order a cooked breakfast at an extra cost if required . The rooms were fantastic and the views outside the hotel were lovely.
Negative: I really missed having a cappuccino at breakfast as there were no facilities for different coffees which i usually find in hotels, this was the only fault over our 2 day break i could find. Maybe this is something the management could look at for future.

Positive: The continental breakfast was overwhelming. We also had the Sunday carvery. This was cooked very well and there was plenty. Cooked breakfast I really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Negative: There was a busy period were the staff were overwhelmed which made us feel a little uncomfortable. The cooked breakfast ordering didn't seem to work although I was able to order at breakfast.

Positive: Beautiful property, very friendly staff who genuinely couldn't do enough for me. Excellent room, very spacious & super comfy. Food was ok but as out of season, a little limited in choice - more pub grub than gastro pub, but done well.
Negative: Wifi was poor & TV reception likewise, & had to pay extra for hot breakfast food (as stated in the booking so not a surprise) but the price was not low so seemed a bit "toppy".
Summary: Excellent location, great staff & very comfortable.
