Positive: The room was everything we could have wanted.Clean and tidy. The Hot tub was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked lovely.
Negative: We paid on arrival as requested and luckily got a receipt because at dinner time the waitress wouldn’t take our order because we hadn’t paid.we were horrified and embarrassed. She asked to see the receipt and after speaking to her manager she said it was a staff mistake and took our order. When our dinner came my husband had ordered slow cooked pork with mustard mash but ribs and chips turned up.She apologised and removed it but his dinner would take 10 mins.so he had to sit there whilst I ate mine then I had to do the same when his finally arrived. We were there for our 45th wedding anniversary and the whole experience tainted our evening.
Summary: Property and location good.
