Positive: The farmhouse was a comfortable, very cosy house ideal for a relaxed family break. A small enclosed garden so dog friendly. It was in a lovely position for dog walks up onto the downs and felt off the beaten track yet easy reach of pubs and other towns and cities ...30 mins or so to the historic dockyard at Portsmouth or half an hour to Winchester cathedral or only 5 to Petersfield to a rowing-boat on the lake. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of good quality towels and a generous amount of products to use in the bathrooms and kitchen, Also Lovely touches like beautiful flowers in vases and pretty roses around the windows and chickens clucking about in the yard. Also useful to have a washer and drier.
Negative: We were having some trouble with the hot water but it was sorted out on the second day. The house was very hot...would have been nice in the winter. The agar in the kitchen made it very cosy but we needed to have fans on (which were provided )upstairs during the night. Also the farmhouse was situated right next to the working turkey farm and the windows have become quite mucky and needed a good clean.

Positive: The hosts were so welcoming and even offered a tour of the farm so the younger ones could meet the farm animals. Everything was so clean and comfortable. It was a fantastic weekend relaxing in the countryside.

Positive: The Turkey House is a real home from home. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, it was the first time any of us had cooked on an Aga but full instructions were given in the welcome folder. The sofas and beds were extremely comfy. We loved the quiet country location with the convenience of Petersfield being just a 5 minute drive away.

Positive: It was incredibly warm and comfortable. The hosts had thought of everything to make our stay the best possible. Flowers and cake on arrival and supplying dishwasher tablets and washing liquid was such a bonus. We can’t wait to come back again! Thank you for such a great stay!

Positive: Alex was a great host. Easy to communicate with and happy to answer any questions we had. Thanks for Simon to take time out of his busy schedule to show the kids around the farm. Great location set in lovely country side. Great walks right on your door step and only a 5 minute drive to Petersfield town centre. We will certainly be back
Negative: There was nothing we did not like about Turkey house and we knew this before the stay. But not having a stand up shower and cooking with an Arga oven added to our experience but would not put us off staying again.
