Summary: The photo was deceiving and it was more corporate than expected it lacked character. Restaurant was noisy food average.

Summary: We stayed here for two nights at the end of a week long Northern trip, so having spent several days travelling from one location to another, it was a very nice place to come to relax . We enjoyed using the spa facilities. There’s a good gym with a range of modern equipment. The pool is good and sauna, steam room and hydro pool a brilliant. We enjoyed relaxing and reading in the conservatory. The bedroom was modern, clean and the bed was comfortable.Meals were good, but breakfast was a bit disappointing. Food was left standing, so tended to be a bit dry and cool. Not the best quality, but adequate. This is definitely something that could be improved on. Staff were great. Extremely helpful.

Summary: Only two things let it down: the fire alarm going off at 4.10 am and the very slow service in the restaurant. We asked the waitress for a little more time to decide as my daughter with an eating disorder was finding it hard to work out what she would be able to manage. The waitress then ignored us for half an hour, not even taking a drink order, while serving others and studiously avoiding looking in our direction. In the end I had to go to the bar to ask for our order to be taken.

Summary: Hotel of a good standard, room spacious although lighting was poor. Good facilities, pool was nice. Unfortunately as hotel only guests, we felt that the club members were treated as a priority. Breakfast was very disappointing, a paltry offering of cooked items buffet style which were luke warm. Also, on the second morning, the breakfast location changed with no signage to indicate this. Previous breakfast area had half decent coffee machines but today there were some urns of a horrible, weak coffee only.

Summary: The restaurant was closed at 9:05 pm the I got to the hotel (Thursday) all that was available was a packet of crisps and a milkshake. On the Saturday night of my stay, I tried to order food at 8:10pm and the kitchen wasn’t taking any further orders. Fortunately, the young lady who worked in the restaurant took pity on me and let me order a pizza. There was a 50 minute wait.

Summary: Lovely Stay for Our Parents – Great Breakfast & Friendly Staff Booked a stay here for our parents and they had a wonderful time. The hotel was comfortable and well looked after, with a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of choice and very well run. Staff were warm, helpful, and always on hand. A great experience overall!
