Positive: We love the one bedroom setup. Everything is well thought out, beds and pillows are very comfortable, lighting is excellent - with a bright setting and a relaxed setting, Electric shades, etc. House keeping is excellent. Never even saw a cart in the hallway, but when we leave in the morning and return a few hours later, the room was always magically cleaned to perfection. Front desk and door staff are always friendly, eager to help and quick to respond. The Wallace is an excellent option for UWS. The only reason we don’t stay there more often is because it’s on the expensive side compared to its neighbors. But, occasionally we splurge.
Negative: This is a minor complaint, but I’m not a fan of Chrome Casting - would prefer to have a smart tv with apps so we can just log into our own streaming accounts. Controlling TV with chrome cast can be a pain.
Summary: Loved it. Best hotel close to Columbia and we’ve stayed at many of them.

Positive: Absolutely love the location of the Wallace! Walking distance to so many things but nestled in a quiet street on the UWS. The Wallace feels like an exclusive getaway in the middle of all that NYC has to offer. The rooms are incredible, chic and SO clean! My husband and I were upgraded to a suite and it was nothing short of incredible. The bar on the first level is beautiful and gets so lively at night. Everything about this property is perfect and we love it even more every time we return!
Negative: The elevators were a bit slow one of the days but that is to be expected of most/all NYC properties. Luckily it is never too crowded there so you are not waiting with your bags and multiple people trying to get into an elevator.
Summary: The only hotel we ever stay at in NYC! The Wallace is always a 15/10 experience!
