Come explore all the Cape has to offer from the Whale Song on Minister’s Pond. This adorable studio is your affordable home base this summer for all your Cape Cod excursions. Dog-friendly and perfect for two, the cottage is centrally located in Eastham. An ideal spot – near the National Seashore, Minister’s Pond, and Arnold’s. Biking, hiking, whale-watching, and enjoying our fabulous restaurants all while having a beautiful place to relax and recharge at night.
I respect the autonomy of my guests and can easily be reached by facetime, email, text, carrier pigeon, smoke signal, or yodeling. Communication with guests is important to us.
Very central to everything. Close to Cape Cod Rail Trail (bike trail), Arnolds, Coast Guard and Nauset Light beach, Salt Pond Visitors Center, Eastham Windmill, and First Encounter beach.

Our Whale Song on Minister’s Pond will have you singing throughout your visit to the Cape. This adorable, clean, cozy, studio with outdoor spa shower is one dog friendly ($50 fee) and just steps away from a private beach on Minister’s Pond.
The cottage features a private patio area with a gas grill, a large yard with hammock, outdoor dining area, room for badminton, and sunny lawn for sunbathing too. The spa shower is huge with a rain shower head, as well as a handheld, with spa amenities included. Please note that the shower is an outdoor shower. There is not an indoor shower option at the Whale Song. Inside you will find a comfortable queen-sized bed, a water closet (toilet and sink room), a kitchenette for your cooking needs, and a Roku tv to watch your favorite streaming show or movie. The shared area would be the beach area of the pond where we have a fire pit, lounge chairs, and a canoe available.
The cottage is within walking distance to Arnold’s and mini-golf, the Cape Cod Rail Trail (bike path), and the Salt Pond Visitor’s Center. Bike Rentals are just around the corner and the National Seashore beach shuttle parking lot is about a mile away walking or you can just take the Nauset Loop bike trail and head directly to Nauset Light Beach itself.

Summary: Tiny and cute converted shed which kept us dry for the first 36 hours of our stay as the rain kept us indoors most of the day. The main lighting for this small space came from the 3 bulbs attached to the ceiling fan. Unfortunately, they were all "bright white" bulbs making the lighting of this otherwise romantic space, stark and cold. Also, power outlets were oddly placed behind the bed headboard (fire hazard?) and the occasional table that acted as the kitchen table (had to pull the table away from the wall to use the outlet.) It would have been nice to understand where Minister's Pond was relative to the hut as we didn't discover it until minutes before we left.

Summary: We returned to stay at Whale Song for a few days again this summer. It is a tiny, but charming cottage and could not be better maintained, cleaned or equipped. There has clearly been a great deal of attention to every detail. It is in a few minutes walk down a private, wooded road to a quiet, small sand beach with canoes and kayaks on a pretty pond. The kitchenette has everything you could need for its size. The outdoor shower is scrupulously clean, and feels very private.If you don't need a large space, it's perfect for two people to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Summary: Whale Song had everything one could want in a small space. The outdoor table and chairs provided a great place for meals or reading. The pond beach and canoe were lots of fun. Tara was incredibly responsive. All in all a five star experience.

Summary: Tara was a great communicator. There was an unavoidable issue with hot water that she immediately dealt with. When the issue was looking like it might take more than an hour or two. She offered up a nicer location nearby. The house was classic cape cottage quaint with attention to small details. The bed needs to be replaced.

Summary: I was greeted by the homeowner with a bag of treats welcoming to the cottage.Myself and my partner loved the outside shower….it was very quiet surroundings and the lake was a 5 minute walk.and you were close to north Truro and Provincetown.The cottage was perfect and we bought our dogs and they loved the surroundings.It was a last minute thing before my knee surgery and we loved it.😊😊

Summary: My husband and I had an amazing time in The Whale Song! Floating in the fresh water pond is my favorite. All of the little amenities were absolutely fabulous from snacks to breakfast bars, coffee and tea, to soaps and lotions! Tara went above and beyond to get us into this tiny cottage that we’ve been staying in for 7 years. She even brought fresh cut flowers from her garden. Highly recommend staying in any of her properties!
