Summary: Very disappointing, no hot water in bathroom sink no toilet lid no shower curtain or screen so water covered the floor badly had to mop up with towels. Big gap in front door at top . Stayed two nights and room was not cleaned so hence no clean towels. When we reported no hot water was told use kettle. Room was not cheap either. Breakfast was good and breakfast staff excellent. Would not go back sorry.

Summary: We stayed at the white bull for 2 nights while attending a wedding locally. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We had room 6 which was large with a king size bed, very comfortable, the room was largewith a large bathroom. Complementary tea, coffee nespresso machine , hot chocolate, biscuits and still and sparkling water were available in the room. Plenty of storage drawers and wardrobe. Also 2 chairs. The windows were a little tired looking but all furnishings were obviously fairly new and clean. Breakfast was very substantial, with lots of choices, we had cooked breakfasts. Food is available from.lunch time onwards. We ate there one evening and was good. As we were going to be returning after hiurs we were given thelandjadies number to call and she just let us back in. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you if we're in the area afain we'd definitely return.

Summary: The hotel is recovering post-Covid and in the face of a shortage of key staff, but is managing to workaround. Food and beers excellent, and it is clearly the social centre of the village with the same people dropping in, out and socialising day after day. Bedrooms good, comfortable and well-serviced.

Summary: Lovely place to stay. The staff phoned the day before to check if i needed a table reservation for dinner. Friendly and extremely helpful from the moment I arrived until I left. Everything I needed in the room including a bath robe, iron and hair dryer. Breakfast was really good too. Would definitely return.
