Summary: Given the restrictions of a very old property (grade 2 listed) they have done a good job updating yet not spoiling. A charming and comfortable stay.

Summary: Very clean. Good breakfast. Noisy which is a shame. No on site parking.

Summary: A really welcoming group of people and a quick check in. Typical character building with wonky creaky floors but loads of charm. A bit cold in the room at first but soon warmed up with the heater. Lovely amenities and a great bathroom too. Good pub food for dinner, breakfast was OK (hard boiled poached eggs will always get a point deducted I’m afraid). Will definitely stay again though.

Summary: We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again. Quality rooms, food and service.

Summary: Hotel is old but location great. You get what you pay for and for this price it was good value for money. The landlord was great and very friendly. I thought this was a lovely town centre hotel and well worth the visit.
