Summary: We enjoyed our stay very much. It’s clean, and refinished with immaculate detail. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen and baths are top notch. Great laundry units. The only negatives are the main bedroom upstairs doesn’t have an air vent so it gets stuffy, no matter what the AC is set on (bring a fan, there’s not one on the ceiling). Through the night you get the sounds of trains nearby, and like every home or hotel in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area, you hear the planes landing at SDF. We also had a tornado warning during our stay, and the sirens went off, but the basement was locked and unavailable to us. That was a little scary for my kid, but we huddled under the stairwell and thankfully it didn’t hit our area. But, that said, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Wonderful property and excellent hosts. Many thanks!
