Positive: We had a wonderful stay at The Woolpack Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast, and everything made us feel right at home, enjoyed waking up overlooking the beautiful fields

Negative: Nothing to complain about. Everything met or exceeded our expectations, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Convenient. Clean. Good breakfast.

Negative: Only the cost. Probably £100 more than it should have been. Obviously something was going on nearby to hike the prices up. Evening barmaid was very vocal - shouting across the bar to her colleagues etc - whilst we were trying to have a conversation.

Summary: Venue is fine. Obviously hit it the wrong day.

Positive: Lovely room, with all the basic facilities I expected. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, and the staff were very helpful. The evening meal was way beyond what I expected of a national-chain pub, really excellent food and wine and truly surprised me.

Negative: Only minor irritation was not enough on site car parking, but there is ample on-road parking available only seconds walk from the hotel.

Summary: Lovely room, wonderful staff, good breakfast. Exceptional evening meal.
