Negative: The power was out when we arrived because of construction accident in the neighborhood. So our wonderful host got us an emergency generator and the power was back on the next day😊

Positive: Location. Amazing view, sound of the waves from the spacious terrace. Spacious rooms and secure 2 car garage. Washing machine and clothes dryer. AC in each bedroom; lots of ceiling fans circulated the wonderful sea breezes! Although there is a large dining room with a table for 6 people, we prefered to have all of our meals on the terrace :) (I would move the dining table and chairs to the room with the door to the terrace so that the whole family can enjoy it) Grocery store/bakery at the corner of routes 685 and 686. Don't forget to buy trash bags, there weren't any in the kitchen. The owner responded to my phone calls and questions in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again!
Negative: The bunkbeds in the smaller bedroom. There wasn't enough space between the bunks, difficult to get in and out of the bottom bunk and the ceiling fan was too close to the top bunk so we couldn't use them :( No room darkening curtains in the bedrooms. Not enough clothes storage, no hangers in the closets. The furniture cushions were badly stained but we covered them with old sheets and towels that we found in one of the storage closets. We didn't use the balcony on the lower level of the house because the landscape is very overgrown, but a little TLC would enhance the overall appearance and comfort of this hidden gem in Manatí 🇵🇷 Needs a visit from an exterminator because there was a swarm of termites inside the house one night! The door of the clothes dryer doesn't stay closed, and the dryer vent needs to be checked 🙄

Positive: Great location. Love the privacy. And loved the amazing view!
Negative: The property needs a little TLC! It is in need of major landscaping, and definitely new appliances! unfortunately, oven does not work on the stove. And the only way we were able to keep the dryer door close was by putting a cooler in front of it with a bucket full of water, so that the lid would not open. Kitchen cabinets unfortunately have moth (polilla) which can obviously travel with you and you can bring it into your home and have all you wood furniture destroyed. I also strongly believe that a little paint goes along way, and can make a house look wider cleaner and more modern! as well as a professional cleaner before a new tenant arrives for their stay. Fumigating every now and then also extremely suggested. Unsure if it was the surrounding bushes dead plants in need of lawn care, or if it is a common thing, but unfortunately, I found multiple spiders, flying roaches, dead, lizard in bedrooms as well as a centipedes!!!!! this could be very well happening inside the property, by a broken screen on the Master bathroom. But in my defense, if you are charging a cleaning fee it should be provided extremely well provided or done by a professional. also, the ACs in the bedrooms work amazing but unfortunately they need to be cleaned/filter needs to be changed as this is a major health issue for people that already have existing conditions
