Welcome! Whether you are coming to the area to visit UVA, check out our amazing vineyards and restaurants, or just get away and relax, we would love to host you and your family or friends!
Come relax and set up a base camp for your time in and around Charlottesville! We're a 5 minute walk to Stonefield, a 5-7 minute drive to UVA and JPJ, 10 minutes to downtown, and a central location for visiting local vineyards and breweries.
This is the perfect house for wedding parties, reunions, families coming to see a game or visit UVA, or friends getting away for the weekend. The open living area and huge island are great for reconnecting and relaxing.. The kitchen is stocked with everything you’ll need to cook, if you choose, and there is a coffee maker with coffee provided. Our goal is to make your stay special, so we do our best to leave special touches that help you relax and enjoy your time away.
The house has a full basement apartment with separate driveway, entrance and kitchen, and in order to comply with county codes, this is where our property manager stays while guests are in town. We’re out of your way, but also happy to help if anything comes up.

Summary: Our family spent Easter weekend at the Comfy Ranch and it was the perfect location - 10 minutes to the downtown mall, Boars Head and Easter Mass. Less time if you are going to JPJ or the lacrosse, softball or baseball fields. The beds were really comfortable and the owner was nice enough to provide us with some treats for our stay and there was even coffee for the coffeemaker which makes pots or individual cups. We were sad the weather wasn’t nice enough to sit outside on the patio but the living room was comfortable enough for 8 adults (our daughter who lives in Charlottesville visited in the evening with her boyfriend) to play board games. Communication with Travis, the owner, was very easy.

Summary: My husband, kids, mother and I came into town for a local family event. The house was perfect! Easy and convenient location, clean and comfortable inside, lovely usable outdoor space. Travis communicated clearly and was easy to contact. One of the best home-sharing stays we’ve ever had.
