Positive: the holiday home as such is nice and spacious. there is a nice garden with Trampolin, football field, swing and climbing rack, tractors, so ideal for kids. The surroundings are beautiful, Cadzand is only 10 min drive. The BBQ and oven are very nice. The rooms are spacious and some of them provide a nice view to the garden.
Negative: We didn’t like that basic goods are rationed or not provided that you have to buy them yourself: 3 dish washer tabs for a family of 7 for 5 days, insufficient toilet paper, only 2-3 coffee filters, no small towels, no liquid soap for the hand dish washing! Furthermore, you have to pay the consumption (heating/electricity) extra, which is fine. You will be only reimbursed the caution after 14 days, but even then, you do not get the details of what you have consumed and you get a simple reply in Dutch. Just another example that you do not really feel welcome: check-in in 16.00 and checkout until 10.00. We find that in one room, the ventilation system is quite loud (but that might be our personal sensitivity). Overall, the experience could be therefore improved, respecting that guests still pay a décent amount of money and that the stay will be as convenient at possible.
