We would like to reassure all our future guests that we have always taken the cleanliness of our property very seriously and we are proud of the positive cleanliness comments we have received from past guests . We have consulted the CDC’s list of recommended cleaning products and are happy to report that we currently use products from this list. We also have a supply of cleaning and disinfecting products on-site for guest use during their stay. We look forward to serving you for the 2023 season. "Someday Came" Cottage is on a quiet, family-friendly, fun recreational lake where all ages can enjoy swimming, fishing, boating and all water sports. With the cottage's close proximity to the waters' edge, you can enjoy both great views and the relaxing sounds of the water from both inside and out. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the loons and bald eagles from either the lakeside deck or from the dock. Spend your afternoon sun-bathing followed by a refreshing dip in the lake (no need to worry about weeds as the swimming area is treated for weed control). Finish off the day with a relaxing sauna, roasting marshmallows over the open fire, stargazing, and looking for the Northern Lights.
Someday Came Cottage is well appointed and decorated for your relaxation and fun. You will find a well-stocked kitchen (large refrigerator with extra refrigerator in garage)with an ample supply of dishes, glassware, cookware, cutlery, wineglasses, towels, and other amenities. This cozy cottage comfortably sleeps 6 and all bed linens & pillows are provided. Bath towels are all provided as well. You will only need to bring your clothes, bathing suits, beach towels, food and drink!
From the lakeside deck, you can enjoy gazing out over the water and taking in the beautiful sunsets. The deck is furnished with dining table & chairs, umbrella, extra seating, and gas grill. Enjoy a cozy fire in the fire ring where there is an ample supply of firewood and additional chairs.
Enjoy your favorite water sport right from the dock. Swim, catch fish, kayak, canoe, paddle boat or rent the pontoon boat that is kept right at the dock (pontoon rental is $75 per day or $350 weekly, 1st tank of gas included.) Newer pontoon bought in late summer of 2019!!! Enjoy a yard game of bocce ball, ladder golf, or "bean bag", all of which are provided for your enjoyment.
Although there is plenty to enjoy outside, you will also find plenty of indoor entertainment: TV, (DISH Network), DVD library, WIFI (country WIFI is sometimes unreliable), cards, dice, and board games. For the more competitive side of you, head to the "garage game room" and enjoy foosball, Ping-Pong, and pool.
This is the perfect destination for your getaway and is an ideal setting for couples, families, and girls weekends.
Please note that there isn't any public boat access to the lake but the pontoon boat is available to rent during your entire stay.

Summary: We were so impressed with this property! The property and cabin was beautiful and well-maintained. There are so many cute decorations inside and out. It was instantly comfortable and felt like home. It was exactly as described in the listing. The owner has provided everything we could possibly require. This place really exceeded all our expectations. The beds were really comfortable and the sheets were soft. The kitchen had every thing you could think of. The lake view from the table is breathtaking. All the cute details really make it so comfortable. There was so much to do, even when it rained. We played all the games in the garage and we took saunas. It was so much fun! With warm weather, we were able to take saunas and jump in the lake. The water was crystal clear and the beach is sandy. We rented the boat and fished everyday. We were able to get crappies, northern, and walleye. We had a campfire every night. The property managers are very hospitable. Cheryl and Rick provided detailed, informative and clear communications. They made us feel so welcome! We couldn't have asked for more.

Summary: Easy to find little gem on a cute little lake. Home had everything we needed, and hosts were wonderful! Little rough for us with one bathroom, but we made it work.

Summary: Cute, well taken care of cottage. Furnished with two queen size beds, one in the loft and another in a room off the living area. Emmensly enjoyed the steam sauna in the cottage and the game room in the garage. Located on a beautiful lake with no public access. A canoe, paddleboat, lilypad and kayaks are available for use. A pontoon is available for rental. Cheryl and Rick were wonderful hosts.

Summary: This cabin is pretty inside and out. It is just steps from the back patio to the private dock on the lake. Surrounded by trees and the lakeside view, this cabin is a great getaway spot not too far from Duluth. We enjoyed our stay and will book again if we ever get back up to Duluth.

Summary: This cabin is all and more than the listing.. Everthings was in perfect working oreder.. Fully stocked with every necessity and more.. Attention to detail in decorations and all kitchen items. Beautifu lViews steps from the water. Pontoon was such a added bonus to use. Beds were very comfortable. The game room was a great addition for the rainy days.. Would Stay again anytime.. would recommend for a roamtic get away a girls trip or famly trip with kids.. Decent fishing from dock and boat. multiple species .. Cant say enough about the owners.. Rick and Cheryl were soo accomodating helpful with any questions.. Very great Hosts to rent from...Thanks again for our wonderful trip ...

Summary: Great, comfortable cabin. Loved the bar area, very cool! Game room in the garage offers a lot of activities in case of bad weather, just wish the jukebox wasn't out of order, that would be a ton of fun for the adults, looked like a great list of songs on there! Very nice sandy beach for kids to swim from. Overall a great cabin with privacy to boot. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: We need to bring very little with us. They had everything you would need besides your clothes and food. It was nice to have the game room and access to the lake. I would say the the pull out couch could use a new mattress but we will be back for sure
