An ideal spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life with beautiful walks and cycling routes right on the doorstep. The Victorian cottage has been tastefully renovated with all modern amenities to ensure that guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. It is south facing and enjoy plenty of sunshine even in winter. It has a wood burner in the living room to make the cold nights nice and cosy.

It has two spacious bedrooms, a living room with a double sofa bed and wood burning stove to keep you cosy during cold nights. Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage was quintessential Scottish and beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker for those of us who would like a pot of coffee and didn’t have a dryer. Fortunately we were able to dry clothes in the glorious sunshine while we were in the Highlands. Strathpeffer was a lovely place to visit. Drove to Ullapool for the day, great day trip. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful spot!

Summary: We did not want to turn the music or TV on to spoilt the quietness and nature around us . We just simply relaxed . The bedding is so comfortable. Unique experience indeed.

Summary: Bart and Alex were excellent hosts - good communication and were available if needed. The cottage was lovely - clean, well equipped and furnished with the most comfortable of beds! Views from the cottage are beautiful and it’s in a most peaceful and tranquil setting. A real gem of a place!
