Summary: Thon hotel was very close to the airport and a short walk away from a park with walking trails and a lake. Morning breakfast buffey was something to behold. I have never seen such a spread.

Summary: The staff at the front desk were especially helpful, both the gentleman at check-in, and the young lady who was there when we left for the airport at 3:30 AM. We appreciated their assistance -- arranging a cab for our departure earlier than the bus ran, and arranging a breakfast box, which we hadn't thought of. We were there for only one night, for proximity to the airport for a very early flight, but found the property to be clean and comfortable.

Summary: The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the hotel service was great. They have a nice free coffee bar with a good selection in the lobby. As you walk into the room, there’s a great place to lay out two suitcases, which was very nice. Two small things that were a little annoying. The bathroom in our room had a very short, one 2 inch step up which we kept tripping on until we got used to it. Also, the shower automatically turns off about every one to two minutes and when you turn it back on you get a short surge of only hot water.

Summary: Make sure you know which Thon property you are going to! We got off shuttle at the wrong one but an employee getting off work was very kind and gave us a short ride to the other. Staff at both were professional, friendly and helpful. Thon airport rooms were clean, well equipped and quiet. Restaurant was good and staff very friendly. Would absolutely recommend

Summary: I found hair on my linens in several places which led me to believe they were not changed. I remove them and slept without the top layer. When I asked the front office for a foreign power convertor, they did not have one, but were very rude and unapologetic. And the airport terminal bus was very late. It arrived more than 20 minutes after the schedule time. I was very glad to have booked one night there.

Summary: I can definitely recommend this hotel as a go-to airport stay over and it will always be my choice now when going in or out of Gardermoen. Rooms, beds, bathrooms and service all good. Breakfast is outstanding and staff are welcoming and helpful.
