Negative: Having a little bit more instructions with where the laundry basket was, and where to put the dishes after breakfast would have been nice but it was a great stay!

Positive: The place was clean and it looked like the pictures. The young man who received me was very friendly and helped me accommodate.

Negative: In the description, they offer a "continental breakfast," but there wasn't much in the kitchen to prepare it with. The light on the second floor wasn't working, and it was very cold when I first arrived.

Positive: They had yogurt in the fridge and bagels/bread to use for breakfast, along with milk and cereal options. That was really wonderful and helpful! There were two extra mattresses that we could use on the floor for extra people. My kids were fine with that.

Negative: The pictures are of *all* the "apartments"- when only a few of them actually are of the basement place we rented. Most are of the other areas of the house. I had no idea we were going down an awkward side door into a dungeon-like, super old, unfinished-looking, poorly-lit basement common area. The "common area" reeked of natural gas from time to time, which was a little disturbing. It kind of took me by surprise, and my kids were a little scared. It was a bit better once we got in the actual place. There were several fairly large spiders, the bathroom (not pictured for a reason) seems like it was squeezed in as an afterthought. It's just a much older house, without doing a complete renovation I'm not sure what they could do about it. I do wish I'd known I was going down into the basement, though- I would have rented the upstairs. The people upstairs weren't super loud, but they did wake us up at night several times just naturally from getting up and moving around.

Summary: Most of the photos are from the upstairs- make sure you know which rooms you're actually getting!
