In a serene and safe mountain setting in South Ogden, this 4,500 square foot home is perfect for vacations. Every window and glass door capture full mountain and/or valley views. Just 25 minutes to Snowbasin ski resort and 45 minutes to Powder Mountain and Nordic Valley resorts, on an always-plowed nearby highway. Restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, stores are two miles away. Perfect for families with children. The playroom consists of a room-sized castle made of drywall, complete with dress-ups and toy swords. Maximum occupancy is 12 people, whether day or night.
Inside the house, the master bedroom has a new, high-quality, hybrid Amerisleep queen mattress. Thermostats and units for central air conditioning and gas heat are both upstairs and downstairs, for excellent temperature control. Two 50-gallon water heaters insure that there is plenty of hot water for every guest. Four wood-burning fireplaces, including in the master bedroom, will keep you extra cozy in winter. Two wifi routers insure you can use all your gadgets, even when everyone else in the house is online. Three "smart" TVs stream wifi services, Netflicks, Hulu and Disney Plus included.
Outside, mule deer frequent the front yard to munch on apples from the apple tree. Our neighbors' free-range chickens take occasional strolls on our grass.
In summer, sprinklers are provided, though you may also want to visit nearby Lagoon Amusement Park's "Lagoon Beach," Pineview Reservoir/Lake,, Antelope Island's salt water beach, the Weber River and nearby water parks.
You will have use of the entire home: all the rooms pictured. The only exception is about 400 square feet of locked storage space.
We respect our guests' privacy. We do have outdoor security cameras that capture the home's entrances and outdoor perimeter for our home's protection.
The main floor has an outdoor deck extending along the entire back of the house. Past guests have enjoyed barbecuing and sharing meals on the deck"s tables while gazing at the amazing views of the mountains and Great Salt Lake.
Lots of space, lots of privacy but beautiful and generous common spaces for family gatherings. Business conferences, family reunions, wedding guests, funeral attendees, ski and sports teams are welcome, but parties are not allowed.
All appliances and furnaces are new. Everything works. There are three wide-screen TVs: two in family rooms, one in the master bedroom.
Want to bring your best friend, the well-trained dog? That's okay, in exchange for a $100 per pet fee, after an advance email to the owner mentioning the number of dogs and type of dog. Cats, ferrets, guinea pigs and any other types of animals are not allowed.
Located in the exclusive Uintah Highlands neighborhood of South Ogden, our home is in a very safe, private, mountainous area that will help you feel like you are indeed on vacation.

Summary: We had a lovely stay while in Ogden. Loretta was a gracious host and the house has more than anything one would need. We were able to bring our bulldogs who absolutely loved the deck and fenced in yard. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Loretta and her beautiful property is the one! It is a large home very well equipped with all you need. The home was very clean! Loretta was so nice and professional to work with. The property was close to everything you need and not a far drive to Snowbasin. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood! She was attentive to our needs and helped us out! We loved having the wood burning fireplaces! Highly recommend this home for your stay in Ogden!

Summary: Thank you Loretta for a pleasant stay in Utah. We were visiting for thanksgiving and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our Thanksgiving feast! Summary: There were 7 adults and 2 teenagers, 1 toddler. Home was a great size to accommodate all of us. Balcony on the back of the home was fantastic for evenings. Kitchen had all we needed for the few meals we prepared. Plenty of linens throughout the house. It is an older home but it was clean and spacious. Only drawback was no shower in main bath/bedroom, only a large garden tub. And the driveway/parking area was pretty tight, got a few scratches on the car from the overgrown trees. Overall it was a great home for us.
