Summary: The parking area was safe but a bit of a walk if you dont get in early. Snd the virw from our room was fantastic. No ac but the breeze off the lake was enough to keep the room cool there is ac in the halways though. Kids loved it here and so did we.

Summary: Staff was very friendly on check in and checkout and anytime i ran into them in the hotel. Room while a little dated was very clean and had everything i needed. Didn't notice the lack of ac as the provided fan was moremthan adequate. The only downside to my stay was that the people in rooms above me were very loud and i was near the stairs and could hear people clomping up and down them.

Summary: We had picked this place based on other people’s online reviews so we were a wee bit surprised when we pulled up and then went to the room. Who knows - maybe the reviews were fake. The place has definitely seen better days - I felt we were on a set from the 1980s with the indoor plant room, the Neighbourhood watch stickers on the patio doors, and the lonely microwave in the activity area. We thought about going swimming but the pool is a large bathtub with a strange homage painted on the walls to the titanic, and the beach is not really welcoming. From the outside, we can tell many of the rooms have been decommissioned because of damaged window coverings and weed infested patios. The front desk clerk was friendly, but there’s no air conditioning so in the summer beware. There were five tv channels but three didn’t work and no wifi in the rooms. Spend the money and stay in Revelstoke as unfortunately this place is decades past its glory days. Revelstoke is lovely and cute with lots of fun and good places to eat plus the museum to keep you busy.

Summary: Beautiful scenery with a bit of history. We were pleasantly surprised how quiet the room was with the door closed since the hotel is by the highway

Summary: Three Valley Lake Chateau really surprised us for our first stay there. Driving past it most years we had finally decided to stay there as we had planned to hike in the area. Headed to it we were stuck in an accident delay and we were scared that we might not make it. I got a phone call from the front desk informing us that their restaurant was closed, and that with the delay they recommended grabbing food in Revy. Right there they had already won me over with a single call. We went with the loft room which was quite hot when we entered (30+) but cooled down as we left the windows and balcony door open to the fresh air. As they mentioned there is no Air conditioning but they did provide two fans. It makes sense since it's a seasonal hotel and that their electricity is generated through a hydro dam further up stream. The building has a lot of charm and history to it although there are a lot of upgrades that could be mentioned. (AC, WIFI etc.). There is also a highway and a train that can be heard. I doubt this is of issue to most people that want to escape the mountains to disconnect. There was a hole in the wall of our shower by the handle but the room was clean for the most part. Restaurant had good service but isn't anything to be wow'd by from my experience. I would definitely stay here again and explore the Ghost Town beside. It easily took us 5+ hours to walk through everything throughly at the town. Looking forward to getting out onto their lake for our next stay!

Summary: A unique stay adjacent to a ghost town and a beautiful lake with towering mountains all around. We had a great room with a wonderful view. It is an older hotel with no a/c so we were a bit uncomfortable trying to sleep. The second night we had a young family next to us and the parents didn’t control their toddler at all! She was playing with the door stop and hollering right outside our balcony early in the morning… so not the hotel’s fault but it did affect our stay.

Summary: I loved the atmosphere. Very rustic charm. Loved the furniture in the bedroom. The only thing that we were not a fan of was the bed was a coil mattress so not too comfortable.
