Welcome to "WHISKER BISCUIT!" Located on the scenic Allegheny River in Tidioute PA. Come spend some time away and enjoy what nature has to offer. We are surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest and the Allegheny River, where there are endless outdoor adventures. Just to name a few... hiking, kayaking, floating the river, fishing. The Whisker Biscuit is Clean & Bright with that cozy feeling. You can relax on the shared huge "cracker barrel" style porch and enjoy the river views
The space
Newly renovated in 2021. Open floor plan. No enclosed bedroom. This is an open floor plan suite. Extra sleeping room can be used is couch and rollaway bed. Must bring all bedding and towels. We have a fully equipped kitchen and A/C to keep you cool during the summer months. Enjoy summer nights by the fire. Don't forget to look up at the stars at night... you will be amazed at what you see! This is the perfect place to connect with nature and leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. If you're looking to launch your kayak or canoe, the public river access is less than a minutes walk. No Smoking inside. No Parties. Each Suite has it's own private entrance. Guest have full access to yard, fire pits, grills, patio, deck, parking and river access. Rollaway bed available by request.

Summary: Very close to house & pool by property, had to walk to river, fence blocks view. Property decorated well, perfect size for my husband & myself. Fire pit seems to be in neighbors backyard, we never had campfire, felt uncomfortable with location

Summary: So comfy and so very clean. Our 4th time staying. We come back every year. Two times in Bears Den, once in Paradise and this time in Whisker Biscuit. I think it’s my favorite. See you next year!!

Summary: Have been at this location, but I'm another room, just as pleasant! The owners make sure everything you need is there, always comfortable & clean, the location is perfect, right on the beautiful Allegheny river!

Summary: I wrote all of this to the host upon my return home. But did not hear any comments in return. Theses are not in yhe order of when I sent thm to my host. First - the "One bedroom" is a studio. Sleeps 4 is a stretch as there is a twin roll-away and a couch (not a sleeper sofa). 2, garbage was left in the kitchen - not that big a deal, but the host should know. 3. Walking f rm the shower to the bed my feet were black - so the floors weren't cleaned between guests. 4. The entry lock needed to be removed and reinstalled as it wobbled badly.. 5, The shower hand-held was upside down so when the shower was turned on, the water went everywhere as it did not stay in place.. My brother fixed it. 6, The A/C unit is hard to reach for a short person, qnd the bar stools are not a safe choice to use to reach it. A step stool would work ok. 7. The A/C vents were quite greasy from, the kitchen cooking. 8. I apologized for not notifying her of our check-out. No internet - so I didn't get the email to respond. 9. And, lastly there is a new-ish fence and no river view. So it was on ok stay, but I was really disappointed I did not hear from my host - especially about the studio rental that was listed as a 1-bedroom.

Summary: Retreating into this Oasis of Tranquility defies words or even pictures. Good for the soul. The accommodations are clean very cute, the manager and owner are very reachable for any concerns, we had none. Hiking, motorcycling, bicycling, from tough single tract to paved asphalt, with no vehicles, along side rivers and creeks, using abandoned R&R paths, fishing, two weeks ago was the PA State Fishing Tournament in Tidioute, the possibilities are endless. The neighbor were very considerate, nice, kind, ands helpful pointing out the nearby points of interest, while everyone respect their everyone's privacy. You do not need to leave the Borough of Tidioute, to enjoy every thing mentioned above. We did though, from Hearts Content, Jacobs Rock, old R&R paths, and logging roads. See Oil City, Tionesta, Franklin, and Warren to see historic architecture built my the sweat and money of oil boom and lumber in the 1850's. Got to go back and bicycle ride Salmon Run Creek. Five nights and 5 days was not nearly enough time., two weeks at least. There is pretty good cell service, no internet, at Whiskey Biscuit, though my gf could use my Android for FB. If you need a phone computer for entertainment, Whisky Biscuit is not for you or you for Whiskey Biscuit. Enjoy the stars under the sky by the river, next to a campfire. Bring a movies and a DVD player if you must. If you want get a life go to Whiskey Biscuit and explore the Alleghany National Forest, you are part owner along with 350,000,000 million Americans take pride and take care of Her (PC incorrect, I know, she is not non binary, she is beautiful, she is Mother Nature). Summary: First off, this place is wonderful. We wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly be back. It is quiet, quaint, and the perfect remedy for needing a break from the "real world." Lyndsay was incredible to deal with and I truly feel as though we made a friend in her. This place is all that is advertised and more. It may not be the biggest pad but it served the two of us perfectly. We needed for nothing. LOVED IT!!!! We will be back!!!

Summary: Absolutely lovely! Cute interior, comfy bed, perfect kitchen area. Me and my partner used Whisker Biscuit as our homebase for exploring the beautiful Allegheny National Forest. After trekking for a long day, being able to come back to a cozy and relaxing abode was exquisite. Loved looking at the stars by the river! Lyndsay is so kind and helpful with any questions and offers great suggestions on local spots. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts.
