Positive: Lovely, cute lodge. Nice and clean. Plenty of kitchen utensils available to use. There is a hairdryer, iron and board etc. Everything you could need. The lodge is at the end of the row which was quite private and next to a babbling brook! Quite idyllic.
Negative: The small bedroom with 2 single beds is very small. We managed fine though, so not really something to dislike. The swimming pool wasn’t opened very often and seemed a bit odd when the lifeguard was on duty. It would be nice to have swimming available more regularly rather than just 2 half hours a day.
Summary: Lovely visit and we really enjoyed it.

Positive: The location-setback a bit from the road and with a small beck running alongside. The space in the living area The views from the windows The extremely comfortable sofa The table and chairs outside The manager of the property was responsive and helpful Showers were nice and hot and the water pressure was good The parking-being able to park just outside the chalet The staff on the site-really helpful and friendly-they opened the shop for us one evening when we had run out of peanut butter for our dachshund. Short distance to walk to the Lake
Negative: The toaster-too small but a trivial thing The bathrooms were a little bit small The bed was too hard for me-but that's a preference thing-I have Osteo-arthritis at numerous points in my spine and I couldn't sleep in the bed-I ended up sleeping on the sofa and slept really well. I think beds are a preference thing anyway-some people like hard beds and some like soft.
Summary: Very relaxing location, we didn't really want to go home.
