A 3 minute walk away leaves the ferry to Palm Island. You are able to discover the secret beaches of Palm Island. These beaches allow you to find the best shells and shark teeth even without a boat. Most of the people never find the island!
The Pura Vida residence is located in the heart of Cape Haze. Sitting in between Palm Harbour Marina and the Freedom Boat Club. You have the choice! Or just charter one of the fishing captains across the street and enjoy the world famous fishing between Stump Pass and Boca Grande. Summary: The place was very clean, well equipped outside garden is very cozy and relaxing. My son absolutely loved the hammock swings. There is also beach equipment available which was awesome. Very good communication with the host.

Summary: Last minute getaway for two nights, And this place was all I hoped for and more. Clean and an awesome setting right across from the ferry to Run Point. Summary: We had a very relaxing, enjoyable week at Pura Vida. Katja was so great to work with. Quick, friendly response always. Loved the cozy environment in the courtyard and the hot tub area. Everything we needed was there - beach chairs, bikes, towels, starters of paper towels, dishwasher tabs, etc. we will for sure be back! Thanks Pura Vita and Katja!

Summary: We stayed at this location to visit family who were staying in Boca Grande. We wanted a place with a little privacy that wasn't as expensive as Boca Grande and had more grocery options without being stuck behind the Boca Grande toll gate. The units are spacious and clean, with a full-size fridge and oven. My only small complaint is that we were in the bottom unit and could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around and talking. Luckily, they weren't up late at night, so it was manageable. The host has a great deal of knowledge about the area and provides a nice binder of places to go and things to see on the kitchen table. We took the ferry across the road to the private island and collected more fossilized shark teeth than we ever thought we would find. This unit would be highly recommended for multiple parties who wish to stay together. If you know two families that could utilize the top and bottom units, I would certainly recommend reaching out to this host.
