Positive: Beautiful, private, quiet resort with large, comfortable rooms and beautiful golf course views. The pool area is a particularly nice place to hang out. Also, the pool is large enough to actually do laps which is excellent. The spa treatments are very good and fairly priced as well.

Negative: The restaurant was not quite up to the quality of the rest of the hotel, especially for the price. Too bad. We then experienced a major fail with room service who never showed up until 90 minutes later to tell us that they were out of what we had ordered. So the food scene here is generally not up to snuff. The bathroom was good but the shower was more on par with a lesser property.

Summary: Beautiful, serene, upscale property with nice pool and large rooms but eat elsewhere.

Positive: Very comfortable hotel with delightful staff. Spacious rooms. Very attractive dining room. Good shuttle service to the golf. Courses well kept. Easy shuttle into town and back. We liked that the Restaurant served local dishes. Attractive pool area.

Negative: The Championship Course was too busy with visiting groups. We played twice: the first round took 4 hours but the second round took five hours!! The food in the restaurant was good but we wanted some fish options and vegetables or salad…it’s very meat heavy.
