This two bedroom, one bath log cabin style home sits at the foot of the Ozark Mountains within walking distance of the scenic Illinois River and just a few miles from Tahlequah. It features a 160 sq ft sleeping loft with an additional 500 sq ft downstairs that includes a private bedroom and bathroom along with an open kitchen / living area. The cabin is located in a gated community that includes a pool and a small putt putt course. Launch your kayaks from the private beach for a day of fishing or relaxing on the river. Sparrow Hawk Mt hiking area and several commercial float operations are just a short drive away. PLEASE NOTE - THERE IS A LIMIT OF NO MORE THAN 4 ADULTS ON THIS PROPERTY. THERE CAN BE AS MANY AS 5 GUESTS BUT PLEASE NO MORE THAN 4 ADULTS. This is also a non smoking property. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 6 ARE NOT ALLOWED DUE TO SAFETY ISSUES.

Summary: Spent a girls weekend here and we would be very happy to return. We had everything we needed and the owner’s communication exceeded expectations. We loved how easy it was to get to the river and enjoyed our time just hanging out and cooling off in the water.

Summary: The pictures don’t do this little cabin justice. Such a nice quite place. Far enough away from the river if you are worried about small kids. Also close enough that you could walk if you prefer. I loved everything about this place and the location. If you’re wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life this is the place for you! It’s great for couples or a small family. There are neighbors but we never even noticed.

Summary: Great little cabin with everything you would need to get some much needed relaxation. 100 yards from the Illinois river, with a great outdoor eating space/fire pit for the evenings. What more would you want. Community is great, and the stay was too. Thanks again for the last minute reservation!

Summary: This is a gorgeous small home with a porch that we enjoyed morning coffee on while watching the birds! We walked to the river and the home was everything the owner promised! Highly recommend!
