This space is a delightful mix of beauty, comfort, and location. We keep an immaculate, cozy home perfectly nestled near the best Austin has to offer. Pecan Street Cafe, Clark's, Lin Asian Bar, and Swedish Hill restaurants are next door!
The apartment is a 1b/1b with outside stone porch, beautiful garden area and comfy beds (1 queen bed in bedroom and 1 queen sofa futon in living room).
Walkable to Clarksville restaurants (Pecan Street Cafe, Clark's, Lin Asian Bar, and Swedish Hill, Cipollina, Josephine House, Jeffery's), Cafe Medici (coffee house), grocery stores (Whole Foods and Fresh Plus), gym & yoga studios as well as various neighborhood parks.
Other details to note: Not for guests who want to party. No parties or excessive noise; No loud noise after 9 pm weekdays and 10 pm weekends (residential area). Please be mindful as loud sounds can easily disturb other guests and/or neighbors.
Early check-in: Generally guests check-out and then we need several hours to sparkle and clean the apartment. Generally, you can check-in early after 11:30 am, as long as you know that the space will probably not yet be clean.
Late check-out: If no guests are checking-in on the day that you leave, you can usually have a late check-out at 11 am. Otherwise, we will need to start cleaning to be ready for the next guests.
Bag drop: You are always welcomed to drop you bags off early or leave them to pick up later in the day (if so contact us beforehand so that we can make arrangements).
Parking: Feel free to use EITHER ONE of the two spots available is the carport (back of house). However, DO NOT use the other spot as it is reserved.
Getting Around: Although we recommend renting a car if you are planning on traveling outside of Austin, there are many ways of getting around central Austin:
· Ride shares (Lyft, Uber) (few people use taxis anymore in Austin).
· Dockless electric bikes, scooters, and mopeds (Bird, Lime, Wheels, etc.).
· Austin MetroBike (bike share that uses docking stations - less popular than the dockless options).
· CapMetro (Austin's public transportation, but it is not popular).

Summary: This was perfect for what I wanted! It’s a cute little house in a perfect location downtown. I felt like the parking space alone was worth a LOT in that neighborhood. This is a great place if you want to be where the action is in Austin.

Summary: Next to so many good restaurants and a couple blocks from Whole foods. The only thing to keep in mind is that its next to businesses so in the mornings you will hear deliveries/landscapers/employees.

Summary: My partner and I really enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and the owners were very friendly and allowed us to drop our bags off early! Fantastic location, walkable to downtown Austin, and also walkable to many very close restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.

Summary: Everything from booking to checking in to checking out was better than perfect. Chet was an exceptional host, and communication was immediate and thorough. The apartment was spotless and had everything we could have possibly needed. Our host went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The location was perfect for walking to shopping, coffee, dining, etc. We hope to have a chance to stay here again.

Summary: Cute little location in the heart of Austin, very accessible to the entire city. Plenty of great food and drink options as well. The VRBO was so clean and comfortable it was a pleasure in and of itself to return here each night after a full day’s worth of activities. You won’t be disappointed at all!
