This beautifully decorated cottage is just 141 steps from the beach. Located on quiet Russell Island, just over the bridge from Spanish Wells, this unique, family friendly cottage is just waiting for memories to be made. It's elevation enjoys constant Caribbean breezes and amazing views. Watch cruise ships as they pass by this piece of paradise as you sit on either the covered porch, the balcony for two, or the open sun deck. Only 141 steps takes you to the beach at Russell Island where children old and young jump from the famous Russell Island Bridge into the warm turquoise waters below.
The master on the main floor is a retreat in itself. With its queen size four poster bed, barn doors to the family room, antique wooden door with glass door knobs from New Orleans, to the master bath with antique slipper foot tub, equipped with handheld and overhead shower and chandelier!!! Wake to the beautiful view of the Caribbean waters right from your bedrooms French doors!!!
The kitchen on the main level is equipped with a farmhouse sink, induction range, convection oven, microwave, full size refrigerator a much more!!! There is also a large gas grill for outdoor grilling.
The upstairs provides 2 bedrooms. One with a queen size bed, and the other with two twin beds that can be configured as a king at your request. Both bedrooms open onto a balcony with breathtaking views of the water. Both bedrooms have separate ductless air conditioning for your comfort.
Relax after a day of fishing, snorkeling, biking or many more of the relaxing activities enjoyed on this secret piece of the Caribbean in the comfort of either of the two living areas. Enjoy a family movie in the main area or sneak away for a quiet reading spot upstairs!
There is also an additional separate living area upstairs with amazing views of the water as well. The upper level has a daybed, that opens to provide two twin beds. There is a separate efficiency kitchen upstairs with full size refrigerator, microwave, induction cooktop, sink and coffee maker. There is also a full bath on the upper level with tub and shower as well. Ceiling fans in all rooms along with gentle breezes give this cottage a true Island vibe! This is a perfect setup up for two families!!!

Summary: What a lovely, comfortable cottage. Tippy’s is one of the favorite places we’ve stayed with a well-appointed kitchen, sweet porch and quick walk to the beach. Audrey is a wonderful host. The cottage was super clean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Summary: The property was absolutley adorable. We spent a considerable amount of time in the house since the weather was not cooperating. Still had the best time, and couldn't have asked for better communication and help with any questions we had. The house is lovely, in a great location, and makes you feel right at home.

Summary: We had a lovely week stay at Tippy's cottage. Super cute, beds very comfortable, outdoor porch with a lovely view of the ocean. Property manager very accessible and helpful. House was smaller than it looked online and staying with three adult children, it felt a little tight. Also, was not informed ahead about additional cleaning fee to be paid in cash at the beginning of our stay. Property appeared online to be closer to the beach than it was. The beach itself was wonderful, though! And we pretty much had it ourselves.

Summary: Great communication all through the booking and stay. Taxi service met us at the airport and Audrey met us at the dock. Audrey is a wonderful neighbour and caretaker helping us from the dock to the house, checking in on us through our stay and even made us amazing pumpkin bread. The house was gorgeous, closer to the beach than even the description suggested. A secluded, quiet and stunning beach at the end of the road. House was equipped with everything you could want or need, spotlessly clean and the views were fantastic. Everywhere is close by in a golf cart! We had a great week and were sorry to leave. Thanks so much, a wonderful stay.

Summary: If I could give more than 5 stars on Tippys Cottage I would! Its a beautiful comfortable fully stocked vacation house! The caretaker Audrey was super helpful, and there was nothing we wished for in the house. Everything was top notch. 5 minute or less walk to the beach, 15 minute or less golf cart ride to anywhere else. Very non touristy place, beautiful, nice locals, good food. I hope to go back!!

Summary: From start to finish, the perfect rental! The location was private and quiet with a beautiful view of the water. The house was fully equipped with everything you might need while away from home. One of the best parts was that it was spotless…perfectly maintained in every way. The house manager could not have been nicer or more helpful. We would absolutely love to stay there again! Thanks for a great visit!

Summary: I highly recommend staying at Tippy’s Cottage. Gail was really easy to work with and made sure everything was in place for our visit, from the golf carts to getting us in touch with a great charter company (Cay Witness Charters). The house had everything we needed and was only a few steps to a private beach. I would highly recomend staying at Tippy’s Cottage if you plan on visits Spanish Wells.

Summary: Tippy's Cottage is a beautiful home with everything you need. We loved the home and the island so much! Gail was a wonderful host, taking care of everything for us. She responded very quickly to every question I had and just really made this vacation a breeze. The restaurants on the island were wonderful. Wreckers and the Sandbar were our favorites!
