Summary: There were many wonderful things we enjoyed about our stay. The home is beautifully decorated, and there were many little added touches that made this a great property to spend time in. The beds, pillows, sheets, and towels were all of excellent quality and very comfortable. There were even super soft and comfy bath robes for use. We had our dog traveling with us and it was very appreciated that there were dog bowls available for her use as well as a box of misc dog clean up items for use if needed. It rained the first few days, and having a towel for use to dry her off and wipes to clean her paws was helpful after she used the private gated area at the back of the unit. There were also a generous variety of coffee pods as well as a bag of house blend coffee that we enjoyed making in the french press and Keurig machine. The host also thoughtfully left a pint of organic half and half for our use in the fridge. We are pretty heavy coffee drinkers, so this was a greatly appreciated offering. There were even a variety of yummy treats available to snack on and a Britta water dispenser in the fridge! The appliances were all of excellent quality and in perfect working condition. I know it might be a small detail for some, but I really appreciated the high quality of the toilet paper, paper towels and soaps / detergents supplied for use. Access to the unit was easy and the garage pkg was a bonus. The host checked in with us and was avail if needed. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: The home is exactly what the pictures show and the owner describes. While small, the above garage apartment is thoughtfully designed, furnished, and provides all the basic and many extra amenities that make the place feel comfortable and special. It was very clean. The home is located in the historic district just feet away from downtown in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by trees. This home was the perfect location as my families homebase while we explored an apple, orchard, nearby parks in greenways and downtown. Rachel was extremely informative and sent regular communication and was quick to reply to my messages. We would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Modern cozy! All the modern conveniences with the coziness for childhood friends to catch up. The space was the perfect size, the beds comfy and what a selection of k-cups for good conversation! It was the perfect mid-point for day trips to Boone and Asheville - each about an hour. It was a very clean, quiet spot, and Rachel was a great hostess. I will definitely book again when in the area.

Summary: Top Deck was perfect for 2 friends to get together and catch up. Clean & comfortable with so many thoughtful touches. Towels fluffy and smelled amazing, upscale bed linens, coffee station stocked with many k cups (sorry we depleted your inventory lol). The established neighborhood is just a few blocks from downtown but very quiet & we felt quite safe walking our dogs 2x daily. Rachel's recommendations were spot on, and so glad we found Thermal Valley Hang Gliding- what a blast! Rachel thank you for a lovely stay.

Summary: My husband and I along with our Boston Terrier, visited Morganton for a long weekend to see our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids. Top Deck was absolutely perfect for our stay and Rachel was wonderful! We will be back again!!

Summary: My husband and I and our 2 Goldens stayed here for 12 nights while we monitored work on our investment property in town. Our host Rachel was amazing. She kept us updated with what was happening around town, and was available if we had any questions. The place was cute and very well appointed. The full size washer/dryer was a blessing for our extended stay. Since we came with our pups, it was important to have a fenced yard. (and the dog-safe access directly from the apartment was a BONUS!) Our host provided everything we could need including more things than I can mention (but I'll try). For the dogs: bowls, towels, wipes, and dog-friendly (but LOVELY) decor. For the Humans: snacks (this was a HUGE surprise), tea/coffee, oatmilk, soaps, shampoos, detergents, BRITA filtered water, all kitchen needs including Keurig and Blender, wine glasses, fluffy towels, comfy beds/pillows, higher end sheets/comfortors. The furniture was comfortable and cozy, while still being stylish and beautiful. I DID put the really nice throw pillows away in a closet because #Retrievers. LOL In addition, WiFi was good enough to allow me to work from there during the week (even with video calls). All in all a great visit. Thanks to our host for making it better than expected.

Summary: Everything about Top Deck was perfect. The proximity to downtown Morganton was one of our main reasons for choosing it. It was easy to find - and is an apartment that's been built above a garage. It's beautifully appointed - the furnishings, the linens, the mattress, the appliances, are all top notch. The thoughtful touches like snacks and coffee were the cherry on top. Check in and communication with the owner was seamless from the beginning. We will definitely book Top Deck when in town again.
