Positive: Fab staff. Spotless room. Good facilities. Very welcoming & nothing too much hassle. It's not all glitz and glam, but it's a lovely peaceful place to be when in Malta at a very very good price. As a family we loved it. As a hotel manager myself I couldn't fault the staff they were amazing. The buffet meals were fab. Before we arrived I had read reviews that were not favourable and was concerned, but I needn't have worried. We would absolutely stay at the Topaz again. We were so relaxed and comfortable.

Negative: We had a wee issue with a leak from above the room, but, handled well by staff. (The only reason our score was marked below a 10). Not so much a "didn't like". There are upgrades going on which didn't bother us at all, it was good to see. But other guests may moan.

Positive: Staff was very kind, the wifi was correct, TV is OK, the kights and the bed is comfortable. The heating is correct. Indoor and outdoor pool was good. Very clean! 24 hour reception!

Negative: The breakfast is not too fresh, it was OK, but not excellent. In the indoor pool isn't sauna, only a pool, but the water is comfy. The room and furniture is very old, schould be a renovation.
