Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at Torch Bay Hideaway! The location was great and had everything we needed. Communication with our host was quick and he was very attentive. He gave us recommendations on where to eat and quaint towns to visit. The lakes in Michigan are so beautiful and clear! This place was also nice and clean which we so appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We grew up in the area and were looking for a local stay for a family wedding. It was a perfect set up for our family. We had 3 families at the house from 13 yrs to adult. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, there were ample towels and bedding for all of us. Check in was easy and they were responsive to all our questions. A perfect set up for our weekend.

Summary: We had a great stay. The house is centrally located which made it easy to explore nearby towns. The close location to the day beach on Torch Lake and the nature preserve on the bay was perfect. We started the day on the bay and moved across the street when the wind picked up. Everyone enjoyed sitting by the fire after dinner and it was an easy walk down the road to catch the sunset. I was impressed with how clean the house was. The bunk room upstairs was enjoyed by the grandkids. We would stay here again.

Summary: Nice size house for a group of friends to spend the weekend and enjoy Torch Lake. The boat launch is across the street and it's a half mile walk to Grand Traverse Bay, which is a great place to view the sunset.
