Positive: We had an amazing time. The views are amazing, the cottage is well equipped and comfortable and the host was very friendly and helpfull. We will always remember the sunset while hundreds of deer were walking in the river and alongside the Loch. It was a real life nature documentary.

Negative: We liked everything. Just be sure to bring along the head nets if you want to go hiking.

The location was just perfect, and the views were amazing! It is extremely secluded, which was just what we were after. Loved it from start to finish. Would highly recommended!

Positive: Wow what a place. We decided to stay here on our NC500 honeymoon trip after I couldn't find a spa! Torran cottage is in the absolute middle of nowhere with the most unreal views of the hills, forest and the nearby loch. You drive about 10 minutes down a farm track to get there and it's so worth it. If you want pure Scottish Highlands with peace and tranquility - this is it. We used the hot tub and you could just sit there for hours looking out at the scenery. Lovely and relaxing - just what we wanted. Thank you.

Negative: - (not a dislike - just a comment!) We did a small food shop before arrival as we knew it was in the middle of nowhere (kitchen was great). - slightly strange welcome message saying 'please don't move the furniture around' and 'all kitchen items must be washed up and put away'. These were absolutely fine - we didn't mind, but for how much you pay it might be worth explaining why, we felt a little on edge initially not to do anything we shouldn't!

Positive: Location and views outstanding. Cottage was perfect

Negative: The cottage is in a very remote location and as a result the road for the final mile is pretty difficult to drive over. Lots of large potholes so you need to be very careful on approach.
