Positive: Close to the airport and early morning travelling to and from airport. Host was communicative and place was nice and clean.
Negative: Loud music right next to property all afternoon and into night from next door, which made it very difficult to put small children to bed. Very difficult driveway to navigate as well for those taking their own hire car.
Summary: Was an okay stay at Touchdown Villa - useful location close to airport.

Negative: The villa is on a hill, with a rather steep climb, it may be challenging for some to get there on foot from sea-level road, so it is advised to use car for that:)

Positive: We stayed here for one night. - As the name suggests, it's a very big villa. Very huge property. - The owner was very friendly and she will offer a taxi service from the ferry (with good rates compared to what you see online). - We came 2 hrs earlier, although we were not able to check in, we were allowed to keep our luggage inside. We paid through credit card. After check-out, we kept our luggage outside of villa as our flight was in the night 10PM. (It was safe to keep luggage outside). - The property is huge, so you have multiple spots to chill and relax. In the outside, there was balcony on ground floor and 1st floor, also seating space in the backside of the villa. - The kitchen is huge, so is the living room (Kitchen could have been more clean, but not major issue). There are 2 washrooms, 1 in ground floor and another in the 1st floor. - A big thanks to the owner as they have a continuous running water filter, so you can have lot of drinking water availability. Kitchen was very well equipped. ( Although it was tricky to use the gas stove ( we couldn't use), be sure to check with owner how to operate during check in, Thankfully, we didn't need it, as we used the electric pot rice cooker to heat some things up). - It is close by to the airport which is a major positive. Location (read carefully) : - Close to the bus stand. (We used public bus during our stay). Also, it is close to a super market. During check-out, we even walked back to the airport from the property. - The property is very, VERY steep ! I am a hiker and a fit person, I could walk from the bus stand to the property, and the walk in itself was a good hike ;) - If you are not fit, you cannot walk from bus stand to the property. Don't take this lightly. - DO NOT THINK, you can carry/push trolley to the property from the bus stand. IMPOSSIBLE. You need a car to come to property with luggage !
Negative: - The AC swing thingy was broken in room. Although, the air was coming, the broken bar was blocking majority of the air. But not a major problem as after some time, the room gets cool. Also because of the broken swing thingy, there was some noise from AC. - Lots and lots of lizards. So, if you are not used to seeing lizards, be aware of it ! We were ok with it.

Positive: The energy of Jill and Lana, the two hosts. We spent only one day in Mahรฉ since the day after we had to leave Seychelles, and they helped us to make the most out of the few time we had!
Negative: The villa is located on a steep hill: for those who are not familiar with driving in Seychelles driving there may be risky and uncomfortable! Even for reaching the bus station, which is not far, it is mandatory to walk on that steep road in which the visibility is not the best one. This is nobody's fault, just something that a visitor should know before going there (:

Positive: What a lovely spacious, clean property Jill has. A balcony to chill on as part of our room too. Literally 2 minutes from airport. Be warned, do not try to walk it with suitcases like we did. Up hill all the way. Jill and her daughter were really helpful and very nice people. Jill even gave us a ride to the airport for our early flight. We would recommended touchdown villa to anyone.
