Negative: Minor issue - time to heat shower water (I was made aware that switch had to be turned on an hour ahead, so mainly my impatience). It does work.

Positive: The apartment was excellent right in the town centre. Washing/dryer machine ,iron ,clothes horse, hairdryer, plenty luxury towels and toiletries. Cleanliness to a high standard and even water milk tea and sugar supplied.

Negative: Maybe a little street noise early in the morning as town comes to life.

Positive: The location was very close to the city center, Trim Castle and the self guided city tour. Clean residence, very nice host and close to good restaurants.

Negative: The traffic at night was quite loud both nights. Weather was very nice so had the windows open. When we closed the windows and used the thick curtains the sound was quieted.

Summary: Toured the Castle and went on the self guided tour. Beautiful area and delightful people.

Positive: The location was perfect for exploring Trim, with excellent restaurants and bars nearby. The unit was right in the heart of Trim itself. The castle was only a 10 min walk, and the bus stop for the Dublin bus not much further. It was a self contained apartment so we prepared our own meals or dined out. There was ample car parking off street, which was very good. Trim has pay and display parking everywhere else. The owner called in shortly after we came in and explained everything for us, and was available throughout our stay (4 nights) if we had any problems. The property itself was a bit older than other places, but it was functional and clean. Our unit was up one flight of stairs.

Negative: A clothes washing machine in the apartment was great, but perhaps a drying rack would be useful.

Summary: A perfect place from which to explore County Meath and Trim.
