Summary: Stepping outside the door and going one block left, there's top places for trad music, Claddagh Jewelers and an easy walk to any place you want to go. We walked to the harbor, the Spanish Arch, the Cathedral, and all along Shop and High street, and then finally to the train station. The place is spacious, very clean and user-friendly. Kevin provided recommendations that were appreciated and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Overall, it was great to be in the middle of everything at a place that was so comfortable. Thank you Kevin!

Summary: We had a great time in Galway thanks to the location of the Townhouse so central to everything. It worked great for us as a central point to walk to taking an all day trip to the Aran Islands as well as the Cliffs of Moher. The night life and food around the area is incredible with some of the best buskers you'll fined anywhere.

Summary: Great location - with access to groceries, farmers market, pubs, restaurants, musical entertainment and shopping. With all of the activities, it was very quiet in the living space and when sleeping. The living space was very comfy as were the beds! Everything we needed was provided plus we were provided bottled water, tea, and coffee to drink and graciously were greeted with a delicious piece of cake. The bakery across the street had yummy almond croissants for breakfast treats! Great cheese and olive shop around the corner. We enjoyed tours: Cliffs of Moher and Aran Island visit. The International Arts Festival was a bonus and we enjoyed visiting galleries and attending plays. I would recommend booking tickets for the plays and such in advance as they do sell out. Galway has something for everyone! We would definitely recommend this apartment space to our friends!

Summary: The condo is located right on the pedestrian walkway so very easy to get around. The condo is simple and has the essentials. The only negatives are the shower water pressure was weak and Kev said he would look into fixing that. Also not under the owner’s control - noisy revelries late into the day from the nearby bar and dark and dirty stairs and landings getting to the apartment. Again out of the owner’s control. Overall this apartment and Galway are central to places to go and coach busses for tours. Enjoyed it very much.

Summary: The apartment is in the heart of the Latin Quarter so steps from the door to the building are loads of bars, restaurants, shopping and the weekend market. However, the apartment is 3 floors up (there is a lift) and faces away from the Quarter so it’s not too noisy at night. The apartment is 2 stories with the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. The stairs are pretty steep if that’s a concern. The living space and kitchen are a good size and comfortable. The apartment was well stocked with soaps, shampoo and paper goods. Kev provided water and chocolate to welcome us. The apartment has a homey feel and was perfect for exploring Galway and then being able to retreat to a quiet, comfortable place. Being in the heart of the Quarter does mean that you can’t park at the apartment if you have a car. There’s many parking lots around so finding a place to park isn’t too hard. We parked at the docks because it had a 24 hour rate of 8 euro. It meant we had around a 5 minute walk but that was fine us. Some of the parking lots had much higher rates so you will want to do some research if you care. Working with Kev was great. He was quick to respond, helpful and welcoming.
