Positive: It's a nice townhouse, spacious and well-equipped. It is located very central in Tralee with a big supermarket nearby.
Negative: The beds were uncomfortable and the blinds did not block the bright lights on the road outside. There was a constant clicking noise - we later figured out that it was coming from an insect trap located under the bed. It was difficult to get hot water for the kitchen sink (and there is no dishwasher). The host demanded an extra utility fee of 20 Euros per night. She was unfriendly and put pressure on us to pay it in cash soon after we arrived. I assume it is a way to get around paying taxes (and getting extra money out of customers).

Positive: Mary and Jer, were lovely hosts and have a lovely house which would be comfortable for a family in a central position in Tralee. Very modern and clean, everything you would need for your stay, lots of towels etc. We would recommend very highly, and although there is no onsite parking, we found on street parking within 5 mins walk for all of our stay. Thank you again for what was a lovely week for us. Tina and John

Positive: The townhouse was spotless upon arrival, and the manager had left a sheet explained where everything was, which was really helpful. HUGE bonus points for the soundproofing/insulation - I'm autistic, so finding somewhere that's quiet for me to sleep and relax is really important for my enjoyment of a holiday. Despite the house being on a busy road in Tralee, you couldn't hear any traffic through the walls. It's also a really good location if you want to travel along the Ring of Kerry or Slea Head.
Negative: The hot water wasn't really working during our stay, we don't know why or how to get it going. It would sometimes get a little bit warm and then go back to cold. Another note I want to mention (although this is more of a suggestion than a "dislike") is that the utility charge for electricity really should be included in the Booking.com price. I understand this house is also rent-able through a 3rd party where these extra charges are expected, but it shouldn't be the case when Booking.com just presents the total price as "everything included".
