3 Bedroom House in Lecanto

This newly renovated 2 bedroom quaint (780 sq. ft) home offers the best that Citrus County has to offer. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and toaster. Coffee machine is a dual brew/Keurig- pick your favorite and enjoy your coffee surrounded by nature. The home has central air conditioning and heat.
Both bedrooms hold queen sized beds, with a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room. Both bedrooms have closet organizers for your ease. The living room also has a working wood burning fire place that will make chilly nights more cozy. Home will be provided with fire wood in the winter months. Satellite TV is provided.
The home has a propane BBQ grill and outside seating. Washer and dryer also available to guests.
The home sits on a 40 acre property with horses and cows throughout. The property is adjacent to the Withlacoochee State Forest, which holds 28,000 acres of trails-- enjoy by foot or by horse! The farm is also the ideal place to stargaze at night!
Ample parking for your boat and/or horse trailer. Please contact owner if you wish to bring your own horse prior to booking. Our horses are available for guided trail rides by appointment only and for an additional fee.
REGARDING BLUEBERRY SEASON:
We are adjacent to a Blue Berry Farm. At some point during April and May (depending on when the blueberries are ripening) the blueberry farm sets off harmless propane cannons to keep the birds from eating the fruit. These cannons can be loud and though it doesn't bother most people, we felt it important to disclose this. The cannons only go off during the day and are turned off at night. The upside, you can U-Pick blueberries right next door!
Please Note: Scallop season is from July through September. Manatee season is November through April.

Summary: The little cottage was super clean and spacious . It was myself and two adult daughters . We enjoyed the horses and the horseback riding trail. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway !

Summary: Hosts were fantastic, very informative and helpful. Property was perfect for a couple’s getaway. It’s in the country, but still has modern conveniences. The horses on the ranch were beautiful as well. Property is very close to Crystal River and multiple natural springs. Planning to book this property again!

Summary: Debbie immediately responded to any questions, and always wanted to make sure we were happy with our stay. The house was very comfy, clean and charming! We loved how it was decorated and the artwork. The kitchen was fully equipped to make all our meals, had a great coffee maker, and even some spices! The cozy bedrooms had extra blankets and pillows. And, great open closets for clothes and personal items. In the mornings we sat outside drinking our coffee as we watched some of the horses go to the magnificent barn for the day. We would hike around the farm and stop by some of the horses in the fields to give them a scratch behind the ears! Fresh air, bright stars, horses whinnying, dogs, cats, birds, and very friendly people-we hated to leave!! Debbie is one of the best hosts we have had! There are so many places in this world to explore-but we do want to return to Ryman Ranch!! Thank you, Debbie!!

Summary: This property was absolutely beautiful! The house was clean and cozy. If you enjoy waking up to nature and visiting with the horses and cows, this would be your perfect, quiet, relaxing getaway. Summary: Deborah was a great host! It’s was so peaceful there I didn’t want to leave. The horses and Nova, the farm dog were definitely the highlight of our trip. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would stay there again.

Summary: the cabin was perfect. clean, comfortable beds, beautifully decorated, so tranquil and peaceful. The owner Debbie was so kind and helpful with getting firewood for the cold nights and making sure we had what we needed. She is an exceptional host. and the Ranch is beautiful. I cannot wait to come back and have this experience again.

Summary: Rymar Ranch was a beautiful place to stay. I enjoyed the lovely house where I stayed. Hiking started with just a step out my door. Watching the horses and listening to the birds was a truly tranquil experience.

Summary: The newly renovated house is located on a ranch specializing in gorgeous, world class paint horses. I spent my time on the farm relaxing in the cute house and hanging out with the beautiful horses and their kind owners. The 2 bedroom, one bath house has all the amenities of home with luxurious touches and easy parking. The farmhouse chic decor will make you want to bust out your diy skills when you get home. It's that's a quick commute to Ocala, Homosassa and Crystal River, to name a few local hotspots. The small town fishing communities are a must experience, with lots of local color and family owned businesses. Tampa (1 hour,) Orlando (1.5 hours) and St Pete (1.5 hours) are all easy trips. The gulf coast beaches are around St Pete are my favorite beaches in Florida. I'm so glad I stayed here while working at a local hospital on contract (the black out shades make it night shifter friendly). It was beautiful, quiet, and everything I needed within reach. I will definitely stay here again.

Summary: From booking to check-in to check-out, this was a wonderful experience. This quaint house on a horse farm was exactly what we were looking for in a peaceful getaway- and the night sky- WOW. We could see every star. The house looks brand new- and everything was spotless. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked (thank you!). Even the towels were high quality and fluffy. We especially enjoyed the little touches that the owner left for us- very kind! Highly recommend this property and will be coming back soon.
