Lovely, secluded 700 sq foot carriage house w/private gated entrance in tranquil setting welcomes you— pets (no fee for 2)! Bubbling fountain, vegetable and flower gardens, and a place to cookout in fenced yard. Home-away-from-home has every amenity, including queen-sized bed with a 14" thick mattress, down quilt and pillows, kitchen, washer-dryer and spa shower/bathroom. Spacious. Two car enclosed garage. WIFI and almost every streaming service available.

The carriage house is fronted by an enclosed garden that springs to life each March. Bubbling fountain and vegetable patch. The carriage house has been entirely renovated with wood-beam 11-foot ceiling, lovely exposed brick walls, spa bathroom and new kitchen. Luxurious bed with down pillows and quilt). Large daily living space.
Like the 1880s classic Cincinnati mansion that it sits behind, the main house and separate carriage house are a preservationist dream. The property is on quiet, shady "Millionaire's Row" in the Dayton St. Historic District. 3 minute drive/15 minute walk from historic Findlay Market with its indoor and outdoor food stands and restaurants. Dozens of restaurants and boutique shopping are within minutes in Over-the-Rhine. 5 minutes to the opera, symphony, Shakespeare Theatre and Washington Park, which has outdoor events almost every day and a great pet park — and has underground parking making it very accessible. Theatre is minutes away. 10 minutes to Kroger grocery store and downtown where the baseball and football stadiums are located. New soccer stadium is 5 minutes away by car, 15 minute walk. University of Cincinnati is a 10 minute drive.
Guest access: You enter the house via a private locked gate to the side of main house front entrance ... path takes you along the house then through the tranquil back yard to the carriage house door. There is also a separate entrance via the 2-car garage in the back—underneath the carriage house (accessible via an alley street behind the main house), up a few stairs into the garden and to your secure, private entrance door.
Animal limit: 2 pets, with no pet fee charge! No pet supplies provided, so bring what you need to attend to them. With more than two pets, we find the hair really piles up and requires extra cleaning and maintenance.. Would consider additional pet/s based on number and size. The pet fee for two pets is $40 for the first two nights and another $35 for longer stays up to one week. For longer stays, the fee is negotiable.
Early arrival or late checkout: If you desire an early check in (as early as noon) or late check out (as late as 5p), just let me know and we will make it happen if there are no conflicts.

Summary: We loved this location! Charming carriage house in a beautiful garden. House had everything we needed. Loved sitting in the garden while our dog roamed around. Host was on site, and readily available. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Cute, unique little house. Jon was there to help us get in. Place was clean, stocked well ans comfortable. While we felt very safe inside the house, we didn't love the location. Love that it was pet friendly. We love being able to take our girl with us.

Summary: My husband and I stayed at the carriage house with our 3 cats for 3 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The garden was absolutely beautiful and the carriage house was very charming and comfortable. We had the opportunity to meet Jon in the garden, and he was really great! He has two adorable little dogs that are sweet as can be. He is a very kind and accommodating host. I would recommend the carriage house to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay. We felt very safe and had no issues during our time.

Summary: On our Thanksgiving adventure to Cincinnati, we were on the lookout for a dog-friendly spot for our furry companion, Snoop. Summary: We were in the Cincinnati area for the weekend and we needed a place that would accommodate our dogs too. Booking was easy and the property owner, Jon, was very pleasant to interact with and helpful as this was the first time we used Vrbo. Communication with Jon was easy, and he was very responsive to our questions. The place we stayed was beautifully decorated, CLEAN, comfortable, and very quiet! Jon provided specific and clear directions to everything we needed (key access, heater/AC, TV, local area,…) The location while in a urban area in transition we felt safe and all the houses in the area are beautiful and well maintained. There was a large baseball field that allows pets (as long as you pick up after them) about a block away and another park like area at the end of the street perfect for walking the dogs. The garden between the carriage house, where we stayed, and the main house was beautiful with comfortable furniture which we were able to enjoy because the weather was beautiful. There was a garage to park however we didn’t use it because there was plenty of street parking. I would recommend this property if you are in the Cincinnati area and looking for a comfortable, quiet getaway.
