Quiet property with one neighbor and three sides of water. Has a quaint, three bedroom, one bath cottage with a knotty pine kitchen. Nestled on Rose Lake or some call it Lake Of The Woods, an all sports lake, you can take your boat out in Bucks Cove to jump off and go swimming, pull tubers, do some fishing or just relax in a chair back at the cottage and take in the breeze off the lake. Has a large side yard that is great for playing catch or games and is bordered by native plants for privacy. If the weather isn't great that day you can relax inside watching the game or play some games using the WiFi or one of the many board games we have. With the cities of Coldwater and Angola so close there is plenty of places to eat and shop. The Fremont Outlet Mall is just minutes away.

Summary: Alan's property on Rose Lake is perfection. If you're looking for some mansion on a big lake, it's not that. It's quiet, it's relaxing and the cottage itself is authentic "cottage". It's perfect. Huge spacious yard for the kids to run. His pontoon is fun to tool around the lake with family and friends. Just all round relaxing and perfect for either checking out of every day hustle and bustle on your own. Or entertaining a young family on your own lake peninsula. This was my second stay in 3 years. Already looking forward to summer of 24. Thank you Alan.

Summary: This is the 3rd time we come to this property. I look forward to coming here every year. I honestly cannot wait to come next year again. Love the peace and quit from the city back in Chicago IL. Big difference. It feels really nice to just sit and relax and not be in a hurry. May this always be available because I love it here!!!!

Summary: The cottage was roomy and on a quiet peninsula. The views facing east or west were beautiful. I'm afraid for us the fishing was poor. Maybe it was the time of the year. It was a fun place to kayak, paddle board, and peddle boat. We saw lots of wildlife: deer, cranes, and turtles.

Summary: We had a wonderful break, the house had everything we needed plus more. Outdoor games & paddleboards were lots of fun. Lovely quiet area with an abundance of wildlife. Thank you, hope to be back in the future.

Summary: We had a lovely week at this cottage! The cottage had plenty of space and open concept. Very comfortable! Beautiful yard and loved that there is only neighbors on 1 side. You have views/access to the lake out the front and the back of the house. Rose Lake is the perfect size. The kayaks, paddle boards and pontoon keep us very busy. The week went way TOO fast!!!

Summary: The cottage is updated with lots of lakehouse touches. The lake is gorgeous, the property is peaceful. Lots of various birds visited the lake early every morning. The water was warm, the kayaks and paddle boat were lots of fun! There is a closet of board games our kids loved! Alan and Kim thought of everything, and it was so nice! They answered lots of questions and were always very nice. Our family loved our week there!

Summary: This place was perfect for our family. It's one of the most relaxing vacations we have had. We fished and swam, drove the pontoon boat, kayaked and paddled boarded. Each night we had a campfire. The owner Alan was great to work with. We will be back..

Summary: We had a wonderful vacation staying at Alan's lake cottage. It was very private and the yard was beautiful. We set up croquet and played several times. The kayaks we very enjoyable and so relaxing in the morning or evening. It was the cleanest place we have ever rented and the accommodations were over the top. Definitely will return!
