Twin beds in loft have been put together to create a king. cabin located minutes from Christie Mt. ski resort and Blue Hills hiking trails ,along with hundreds of accessible acres of state and county land to enjoy snowmobiling or ATV trails. Near plenty of lakes around us ,and fishing is great! There is something for everyone! Wi-Fi and Dish included. A/C

Summary: No detail was overlooked-right down to keeping the cabin/yard pet friendly, and super clean :) We especially loved the piles of dry firewood all ready to use, along with the grills & accessories in the shed! Very relaxing and cozy!

Summary: This was my first time at this cabin, and it will go on my list of places to see again! I went looking for a chance to relax and enjoy the end of winter in some gorgeous country and be able to do some cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, etc.---and this was perfect! The cabin itself was as described except maybe even nicer: very clean, very cozy, very well-supplied, and the location is fantastic. I went cross-country skiing at the nearby Blue Hills Trails and at the Sisters Farm Trail (southwest side of Ladysmith), both of which had great skiing on groomed trails through lovely wooded areas. The Sisters Farm Trail on the east side had a very nice quite level trail for skiing, for those of us who don't do as well on steep downhill bits! All of these would be great for hiking as well in summer months, as well as the also very nearby Ice Age Trail where I went snowshoeing (not groomed for skiing). The cabin is easy to reach but surrounded by nature and quiet and peace. I enjoyed simple evening walks on Norwegian Road (right next door) most evenings. Communication with Laurie was always quick and easy, any questions were answered right away, and although I had no problems, I felt that I could have reached her immediately if I did. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful get-away into nature in beautiful surroundings any time of year!! Thanks, Laurie, for maintaining this spot (and for letting me do an early check-in due to threatening weather, even though the big snowstorm didn't really materialize)!

Summary: My husband and I were so happy we could bring our dog with us to this really beautiful property. Our dog had so much fun running around the yard and the attached wooded area. The inside of the property is really lovely and the photos online really don’t do it justice. The communication was really good and very timely. They do have two twin beds pushed together to make a large king, which was really nice, but I do have back problems so a little bit more plush, sturdy mattress would be the only constructive criticism I would give. We needed a weekend of rest and relaxation away from everything… And that is what we received. It was much needed and very much appreciated!

Summary: Very cozy cabin on a nice wooded property. Host made sure cabin was well-equipped (even provided charcoal for the grill and wood for the fire pit). My dog loved the property, and we really liked the nearby Ice Age Trail hiking.
