Summary: If you are able to drive and looking for a stay in a quiet area (but within easy reach of the beaches and sights), this is the place to stay. The rooms, gardens and balconies are very spacious, tidy and clean. The complex is small and surrounded with barren land. No noises from traffic, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The fantastic sites (archeological and modern) are within easy reach. Lots of street markets where you can buy your fresh goods and supermarkets for water, beer etc. Paul is very easy to reach and responds to any queries promptly.

Summary: Mostly everything was good and we got treated very well. The Gardener was nice and he helped us a lot, so that was really nice. The only issue was that the place was a little bit far away from the city and you will have to use a lot of money on transportation. But other than that It was a nice stay Regards Mona

Summary: We are a family of four and a half from Germany and are booking Paul’s house for the fourth time now. It is really clean as always. Before we found Paul’s property we rented other villas but it was really a pain. Often times it is hard to find a trustworthy caretaker and owner. We ran in a lot of issues in other rents like broken windows and broken aircon but do not have to worry about it anymore, because we found the right one with this one. If you have questions you can contact him every time via mail and you will receive a response in a short amount of time. The only issue we had was the WiFi for some time, because when too many people are in the same WiFi it can slow down really fast in the building. We experienced, when you go outside to the pool you have the best connection. At the end of the day it is about the things you experience in Belek and around, not the WiFi connection you have at home! In our opinion we recommend this villa for families with kids just having a great time in Serik/Belek. The kids love the pool and have their own aircon in their bedroom. Nothing more we wished for a rent!

Summary: Was as expected and hoped, this Villa is owned and cared for, it shows as all you need is there and works, I have rented villas before were you are promised this and that but when you get there it is not like you had hoped but this was great, Location could be better but then we new it was out of the way a bit, if you have a car its not such a problem as the main resort is only 10mins drive away. If you want a almost privet pool to yourself with plenty of free space then this is great value for money.

Summary: This is a lovely setting in the Turkish countryside. Spread over 3 floors with air-con on each floor. Nice pool and 2 loungers provided. A lovely area for walking, a shop just up the road, there is a restaurant there as well but closed when I was there. This is great base to explore the area. Easy access to the centre of Serik, this is a proper Turkish town, mercifully tourist free. There are 2 good markets, 1 along 4193 Sk. Another off Cumhuriyet Caddesi, to the north of the town. Both are all day. The people so friendly and helpful. Several good cafes where you can get a good lunch for around £4 per head. Try Parlak on Ataturk Caddesi (near HSBC) and choose your dish then off to Akdeniz Dondurma on Prof. Dr. Yaşar Uçar Caddesi for dessert. I had a proper Turkish haircut and wash all done using scissors and razor, for only £1.50, brilliant, best haircut I have had for years. A must do is Aspendos, fantastically well preserved amphitheatre, followed by a visit Yörükoğlu Restoran 1¼ miles further on (although the ‘Village Breakfast here is a must). A drive along the west bank of the river towards the mountains and back to Serik via Akbas is well worth it. Another great day to be had at Kurşunlu Şelalesi, a much better waterfall than Mavangat, not so mobbed by or set up for tourists and costs only £0.90 per person. The town of Mavangat is good with a lovely riverside walk, try lunch at Sultan Sofrası at the rivers edge. I found the other towns, Belek and Side in particular too much like any other tourist towns around the Med. Too many people and too many restaurants offering such huge menus that none of it can be fresh, but that’s just me. Would definitely return. Beware the standard of driving, particularly on the D400.

Summary: If you want to get away from it all this is the ideal location. A small group of villas set around a good sized pool in an oasis of green gardens outside of town in the countryside. Having a car is essential. The villa was more than adequate with all the little personal touches to make it home from home. There was a caretaker living on site who watered the gardens and maintained the pool. The excellent guide notes from the owner made it easy to find the villa and settle in and the hints and tips for places to visit were spot on. Most nights we drove into Side and enjoyed the old town nightlife, shops, restaurants and bars beside the pretty harbour. The villa and location is very good value for money if you enjoy total peace and tranquility !

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay with my Family at Caretta Villas in Serik/Karadayi in October 2012, near the Golfing town of Belek! Whether you’re into golf or not, there’s plenty more to see and do in the area. The villa catered to our everyday needs as it was fully equipped, even down to the lilo’s for the pool! Belek beach is a short drive away, so a car is essential as the Villa is set in a picturesque peaceful secluded valley. Serik town is close by, and there’s an excellent Fruit and Vegetable Market on the outskirts of the town on a Sunday. Belek town has a lovely Fountain, and has a large shopping complex and market, but be prepared to haggle as the prices for any goods start quite high! During our stay we visited Side, an ancient Greek city, Aspendos which is famous for one of the best preserved Roman theatre’s in Anatolia. We also visited the Kursunlu Waterfalls, and my Mum even had the time to paint a picture of the surrounding area. There are also plenty of excursions to go on, all available from Belek. The owner has also left literature in the Villa regarding these. I hope this information has been useful, and that you also have a great holiday, in a wonderful country with friendly people. I have nothing bad to say about the holiday, and would definitely recommend this Villa to family and friends. But the highlight of our stay, or should I say mine was to be involved in the 1st Golfing tournament in Turkey at the Antalya Golf club in Belek as a Marshall. I met several of the top players in the world, including Tiger Woods and Rory Mcilroy.
