(private villa, privately gated, NOT in a complex, all facilites for exclusive use) The location is perfect for those wishing a central position to the many charms of the Bodrum Peninsula, with the setting framed by farmland and a quiet, natural view out on a small olive grove and hills beyond. You will be spoiled for choice when it comes to activities, starting with the private pool which has in-pool seating and poolside pergola to escape the mid day sun. A few steps from the pool is a Beach Volleyball court (aka Kids' Beach) and a large grass lawn that lends itself to a family game of football. In the backyard you will find the badminton and half basketball court. Villa Tortuga is a perfect rental for the whole family.
Great area for long walks, quiet area with very few neighbours or noise...
Bodrum Golf and Tennis Club is one mile away (driving range, 9 par-3 holes, 5 clay tennis courts, spa, clubhouse & restaurant).
Pool and grounds will be looked after by our gardener 4 days a week.

Summary: The property itself was set in very beautiful landscape, the view from the master bedroom was spectacular. Location for us was superb, as it was near Midtown shopping mall, the Ortakent Beach and Bodrum city centre. However unfortunately it seemed that the house has not been updated for a while and no one really looks after it properly. The nets were all loose in the outside dining area, the patio furniture were broken and wobbly, and the same with the outside dining area. None of the furniture had cushions like the pictures! The play house is in ruins and kids will not be able to play in it. Such a big shame as you can see that this house was once beautifully kept. I was really sad when I went there as I had high expectations for the price I paid. Also we arrived on Saturday however the wifi was not working and could only be fixed on Monday. The downstairs bedroom one of the beds were broken as well. We were assured though that it could be fixed however all these little wear and tear issues should really have been taken care of before the guests arrived. Besides all of these little issues my family and friends enjoyed the house as it’s beautifully laid out, fantastic location and stunning grounds with a variety of fruit trees! Bernard the caretaker was always reachable and did everything possible to make us feel comfortable, unfortunately he is not in charge of buying new furniture! With a little TLC this property will be truly spectacular! Really urging the owners to replace broken furniture and recourses.

Summary: We were on a family vacation lots of young children in our group and I have to say we had a wonderful experience staying in villa tortuga. The local reps bert and his wife were very helpful and available if we had any issues immediately. The check in process was easy and smooth and it’s a lovely villa for a large group with plenty of space for everyone and fantastic outdoor space. Would highly recommend!!

Summary: This is an excellent villa, with amazing amenities. We were a group of 8 in Bodrum for a stag. We wanted something that was upscale, well situated with access to Bordrum and Turkbuku, and gave us some privacy and space. Villa Tortuga delivered. It's a massive, well appointed villa with plenty of room for 8-12. The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. It has a basketball court, beach volleyball, football pitch, pool, bbq, shaded terrace, tv/internet. The host, Tripp was great and had a driver, Manfred great us at the airport. Manfred himself was especially a highlight for us - great service and advice. Highly recommended!!

Summary: We arrived at Villa Tortuga, very late, one balm and silent evening. The journey from the airport to the Villa was made much easier due to the accurate and comprehensive directions supplied to us by Trigg, the Villa owner. Despite the lateness of our arrival we could not resist a stroll across the manicured lawns to a cooling dip in the larger than expected pool. As expected, the pool was to become a focal point througout our 9 day stay, where most days we dined at the barbecue area at the deeper end of the Pool. We have so many happy memories of our stay, Charlie the cat, the challenging Zip wire, climbing to the summit of the mountain that overlooks the villa and sipping coctails whilst listening to the call of the Imman from a distant place. Manfredi, the housekeeper visited often enough and provided us with several recommendations on where to dine, all of which proved excellent. We had one of our best ever holidays at Villa Tortuga and certainly hope to return on day.

Summary: We just came back a really nice week in this house. Since we like being active on our vacation, we found this house perfect. You have a nice pool with relaxing next to it. The beach volley court was used frequently as well as the nice soccer area. There are tennis courts as well as a golf course a few kilometers from the house(car needed). Rental car is needed to get food or if you wish to go to Bodrum for shoping/restaurants. The owners of the house have been easy to communicate with and very helpful. We highly recommend this place.

Summary: I cannot rate this villa highly enough. The villa itself is spacious and tastefully done, it really feels like a home from home with everything you need on hand. It's especially good if you have small kids as they already have baby monitors, small chairs and small beds available, plus the pool is fenced off with a lockable gate. The kitchen is great - it even has one of those taps that filters the water so you don't have to lug a load of bottles home from the super market! It has mozzie nets on the windows and aircon if needed. There are loads of supermarkets nearby, plus a local market on a Wednesday which is amazing for fresh produce. But the really wonderful thing about this place is the grounds it's set in! The pool is beautiful and there's plenty of sun loungers. It has a BBQ area, a volleyball court, a basket ball court and badminton! The kids will never get bored! nor will the grown ups come to that! A man camer every day to check on the pool and maintain the garden and there was always someone on the phone if needed (even at 3am). The owners were easy to deal with and very helpful. I'd recommend this property to friends, relatives and anyone who wants a break in the sunshine. It's a short drive to the beach, but to be honest there's not much reason to leave the villa!

Summary: We were in this Villa in July 12, with another 3 couples from Spain and we can only say good things during our stay. The villa is amazing, with all kind of amenities, including a beach Volley court, Basket court, badminton... and a superb swimming pool with Jacuzzi. The house has a nice and big salon with an open kitchen and 5 rooms with very high standards. The place is very relaxing, surrounded by nature, but close to city center and several supermarkets. If you want to have a nice and relax holidays or visit some historical places, this is a place I would definitely recommend.

Summary: What a wonderful holiday! We were met by Manfred, who was so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa itself is superb. The children were so happy to play in the fantastic garden, playing football on the lawn and swimming in the pool. They also spent loads of time playing in the beach volleyball area and badminton court....the house just seemed to have everything! It is in a great central position to explore Bodrum and the surrounding Peninsula and is close to the beach. It was also great to walk to the local golf club for a relaxing lunch. We would definately recommend staying in this villa. Have a fun time!
