Summary: Met on arrival by the owner Enrico. He told us all we needed to know about the house and surrounding area. He booked a couple restaurants for us, including a nearby farm restaurant that serves local dishes and wine made from their own produce. If you want a quiet stay but close to the town and beaches, this is for you.

Summary: We spent two very nice weeks in the house from Enrico. Also our 3 years old son loved the house and the garden. Enrico is a very attentive host and he brought us everything we missed in the house - but that was not much, there is nearly everything available in the house. Even a lot of stuff for small children. Summary: We stayed 10 days in the charming Oleandro house, and we enjoyed a lot the house itself and our vacations in this region. Enrico is a very gentle and careful host, making every effort to make his guests to feel as comfortable as possible - and all our family was indeed pleased and we appreciated a lot this place. The apartment has all that is needed to have homely feeling, and very convenient for a family with children. The terrace, looking to the inner yard, is large enough to comfortably set a supper for 2 families, and is nice to sit and relax on open air. We used quite extensively wonderful sheltered barbeque place with authentic ancient instruments and peasant’s equipment that bring additional charm to this place. The house is almost “in the middle of nowhere”, and quiet as it could be. At the same time it is quite strategically situated: it offers easy access to the numerous beaches of the sea coast that are accessible from 15 to 30 minutes of driving, and we visited many of them up and down the coast. They are different while all splendid. First advice - study carefully information prepared by Enrico on several languages, second advice - follow them! Third advice - investigate at your own, and you will be reworded by finding excellent local food (o! Sardinian sweets!), wines, restaurants, small towns, and different places to visit. Eventually, this is a perfect area to fall in love with Sardinia, and start to dream to return there again and again…

Summary: "A fabulous villa located around other dwellings in a stunning & peaceful valley in San Vito . We have 2 young boys aged 7 & 8 and this was perfect for them and for us. They had the freedom to roam safely on the grounds and enjoy a Summer adventure as kids like to. We stayed in the Oleandro house which was full of character and charm and probably the biggest and the best of all the houses. But all the other houses looked as equally well equipped but maybe not as big. The house is very tastefully decorated with a very well equipped kitchen and stunning terraces overlooking the communal gardens. The houses are suitably remote and you do need a car but if you like to explore there are so many amazing beaches and local restaurants all a short ride away. The land surrounding the accomodation has an abundance of fruits trees, apples, plums, almonds which the boys enjoyed climbing for. In addition there is a fantastic dam which is freezing cold and very deep but really therapeutic to swim in. More importantly the owners, Enrico & Elisabetta and their children are the perfect hosts. They are sometimes on site or sometimes in Cagliari but they were always available if we needed anything. In our experience we have never met owners that are as kind and helpful as they were . Other than Costa Rey which is quite commercial we would say this is a beautiful and relatively understated part of Sardinia and it did not seem so crammed with tourists. The region seems to have retained its beauty and its localness and this is what we perhaps loved about it the most. Even in August some of the most magical beaches were still un-crowded (Feraxi) We loved it so much we tried to rebook for this year but sadly all the houses were booked out in a group booking on the same dates we wanted. Consequently we are staying as close to this beautiful part of Sardinia as possible. Any family that wants superb accomodation, peace & quiet, beautiful landscape , fantastic beaches and wonderful food will certainly not be disappointed at Abba Arrubia."

Summary: "Excellent apartment, very well equipped and has everything for your comfort. We were there with small children 1,6 years and 3,6 years, everything is very convenient for families with children. The owners are very pleasant people to communicate. In the district a lot of great beaches, which are easily accessible by car. This holiday we always remember with great pleasure."

Summary: "Of all the holiday accommodations we have rented so far, this one was one of the best. Both accommodations are situated in a beautiful and calm environment. We were impressed by the quality of its furniture, it is well equiped and very clean. The rooms are very airy and beautifully decorated. The landlords, Enrico and Elisabeta make you feel very welcome and will take time to answer all your questions. I would recommend this place to anyone who seek peace and quiet. "
