Positive: The staff were incredibly accommodating, kind and helpful. In particular the staff in the restaurant, who went above and beyond to accommodate my baby with puree food. The rooms cleanliness was phenomenal. The soap, wash and shampoo were all beautiful quality and natural products. The rooms were fantastic size and accommodated us as a family of 5 with 2 trundles for the little kids. This still left amble room within the room. We were incredibly impressed by the venue, the restaurant, the room and the staff.

Negative: We absolutely love the venue heritage staircase however having a pram made it difficult to carry up and down the stairs with no lift available. The breakfast was quite minimal which could be improved with its selection available however noting what was provided was really nice.

Summary: Beautiful, clean and amazing customer service - would stay here over and over again

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this property. The facilities were amazing — including tennis, basketball, volleyball, squash, and a pool — which made our time there so enjoyable, especially since the estate is located a bit away from other places. There was always something fun to do. They also offered a late check-out option for a small fee, which was super helpful and really appreciated. Overall, a great experience!

Negative: The family room we stayed in was slightly outdated, particularly the bathroom. The shower did break, but thankfully it only happened on the morning of our check-out, so it didn’t impact our stay too much.

Positive: I was attracted by the beautiful building, so we booked two nights for a weekend getaway. The building itself is stunning, and the surroundings are very nice. The Wild Water restaurant is lovely, with large glass windows that let you enjoy the views while dining, which was a real highlight. The food was okay and quite normal. The waitress was friendly, which we appreciated.

Negative: The hot water in the bathroom. It went cold for a minute or two during the shower, then came back. When we arrived, the room was not ready yet. The outdoor chairs and table were still inside the room, and a staff member then came to set up the minibar. We also noticed some dead flies and bugs on the floor and bed, so we were not completely sure how well it had been cleaned. However, we did check in about half an hour early, so we did not mind too much. The pool area was okay, but fairly standard. Overall, the hotel is alright, but the experience would be much better with a warm and welcoming check-in and check-out, as we did not feel welcomed by the reception staff. I would rate our stay 6 out of 10.
