Positive: The property is a beautiful, old country house hotel. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable and spacious. It has a genteel , old world vibe.

Positive: The hotel is stunning and the room we had was amazing. Fantastic spa facilities and the staff are brilliant but seen very overstretched. The Italian restaurant on site was superb value for money and the food was exceptional. The overall experience was superb and we would almost certainly return
Negative: It’s just lacking a little bit of attention to detail with the cleanliness etc. There doesn’t seem to be enough staff for the size of the hotel for example the man working on reception at check in was later serving in the restaurant.

Positive: Loved the history of this hotel, very friendly helpful staff.. nice restaurant which we ate in once, the food was lovely.. Superb breakfast, Comfortable bed and nice linen, lovely gardens and great to have a spa..

Positive: The Hotel is set in lovely grounds and the rooms are spacious. The hotel has a lovely authentic stately home feel to it. Whilst our stay was pleasant I have stayed in nicer hotels for less. The staff were very accommodating and helpful.
Negative: Whilst the hotel is an old building with authentic features and character it feels like it needs some investment in certain areas. There were some areas of cleanliness that needed attention.
Summary: A nice traditional hotel with character but in need of some investment.
