Positive: The host was very informative and helpful. She responded quickly to all our questions. Check in and check out were simple. She met us at the tram stop to give us keys and information regarding the apartment. Her English was pretty good. We didn't have any trouble communicating. The apartment was very clean and had what we needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was pretty firm, which we liked. I can't think of a complaint.

Positive: This was our most valued place for our vacation in Hungary. We stayed in the Budavari Hilton, the InterContinental in Pest, yet the treasure box has a special place in our heart. It is none of the above but it is central in Miskolc like nothing else. Just steps from it are places for breakfast (Lipoti bakery, Munch Coffee), Thai massage, Nightclub. The kitchen is on the ready with not only with stovetop an dishwasher but with egg cooker, salt and pepper, sugar cubes for our espresso, a variety of teas and a lot more (don't expect to cook aThanksgiving meal but close to it). We were on a long vacation so the washing mac hine (fully functional!!!!!) was an enormous help. No dryer but our washed clothes on the balcony dried fast (in late May). And the balcony was great for our morning coffee, as well. Alternatively, stepping out to the main drag an having an Ice-cream or any kind of coffee was a real treat in the morning. All in all it was a fantastic experience and the price was really affordable will go back.
Negative: It is on the third elevated floor (fourth floor in English terms) no elevator was a bit of a challenge to move in and out but the host, Gabriella was helping more than we have seen in a number of other 3-4 star places in carrying the luggage( and she is definitely stronger than this fit 64 year old man writing the review). All in all, the inconvenience of the high floor was more than outweighed by the help we received and the central location. One minor inconvenience was that my wife and I would like to share the same bedcover, and this place, like many others in Hungary, provided one blanket for each of us. The upside is that we were still able to sleep under the same blanket with some effort, and that was better than other 3-4 star places. Also want to point out that the host, Gabriella went out of her way to resolve any minor issues we had, she was extremely responsive.
